I have a bunch of packard 630 terminals I need to crimp and wanted to know what people are using for those? It would be helpful if the pliers for those also worked on the weatherpack terminals.

I tend to be a buy it once type consumer, so I would rather buy the better tool (within reason) than a super cheap one that ends up going in the scrap pile.

Any suggestions?

go to waytech wire or delcity wire and search for the crimpers recommended for that terminal type, probably show at least 2 types a ratchet type about $75 plus and an manual squeeze type for about $25 , the ratchet type is gonna be the better choice are you winning to spend that much.

I use the cheap on but i solder all my crimps.

These are the ones that I use. They are Packard Electric and have used these for years. The set is on the left, the next is the terminal crimper, then the weatherpack seal crimper, then the crimp tool for the larger terminals. Ken
