front page - AOL & 1st 3 yr Bronk

7:12 Pm
probably not a lot of you - but today
(I guess they change it 3, 4 X a day?) the 'front page' of your
AOL sign-in hasa big pic, 2 littler ones & an add. The left side (same as
FB - they divide the screen for several functions) has ur in box etc (running vertical).

The afternoon pic hasa "Portland/Wisc Protests" pic. (?will B gone by Mon eve?). Looks like 1 of the the lill pic (on right) hasa blue or blk 1st 3 yr Bronk (eyebrow grill) flyin the Trump flags & cruzin in support. Some 1 got shot/killed there for macein some1 else Sat.
Not a good place to take ur bronk...
I clicked on it & there's no bronk follow up, in fact several nite vids of jerks hasslein w/each other in the streets, other foolishness. Plez don't go. I want you safe~
Just wish there was more bronks - they gave me a teaser w/o the beef ("Where's the ...bronk?"). I guess its just Perdue's "pieces parts"...
10:41 pm

Saw a trailer on Apple TV for a movie called "She's In Portland" in which it appears they buy a classic Bronco and drive it up the west coast from L.A. to Portland OR.

Nice orange Bronco and they will apparently cruise right through my area of Big Sur and Carmel.

I did that once BUT...

solo & started in Morro Bay/Cayucos took coast hwy (not I5) & turned east (for Portland) in Tillamook. 1976 and ina '66 Dart wagon (had just driven the slant6 out from east coast 4 a yrs wrk in Modesto area) & was headin back (WVA) for grad school. A lill more comfortable I'd say (altho had all my cast iron pots'n pans, skis, etc + big ol over sized roof rack, full). Bought the bronk I drive now in '83 when I got back to New England.

Enjoyed a few daze in Julia Pfeiffer Burns park ina cove w/a surf board. Quite the experience for an east coast sailor. Enuff so I still remember 44 yrs later...

(as well as my dream since 'lill' - ski on my birthday 10July - east of there, Mt.Hood, a glacier)

kids R Krazy, no?

That Don't Sound Like You

A few years back I had my 1972 Bronco in Lee Brice's music video "That don't sound like you". A friend knew the band and they were looking to do a music video in the Virginia state park just down the road from Virginia Beach, where I lived at the time. Funny thing is I washed and detailed the Bronco not knowing where the shoot was going to be at, only to then drive it 5 miles down a dirt road and get it completely dusty. They shot a lot of video of Lee driving, and singing next to the Bronco, but only a few clips made it into the final video. It was great to meet and chat with Lee. Really friendly guy.

Watching my Titans against the Broncos tonight, ESPN used the new Bronco in a graphic.
