PS Reservoir or Pump for Explorer Serp Setup

The plastic explorer reservoir that came with my serp setup is old and ugly. I'm trying to make a very clean engine compartment. Is there another tank / Reservoir I can use instead? Or would I need a different PS setup? And if so, what works and looks nice?

Thanks!

I like the aftermarket stuff too, and have seen some pretty nice ones. But when it comes right down to it, if you don't find one you like, a new (or at least cleaner version of) factory one would work too.
I may be the odd man out here, but I think the factory reservoir is fairly clean looking. When in good shape that is.

It also has a pretty nicely designed anti-aerating feature as well. As some of the aftermarket ones no doubt have too I'm guessing.

Personally I so disliked the location and look of the Exploder reservoir that I built an entire new bracket on the DS to mount my PSC pump below and my OBA pump above...this allowed me to mount my PSC reservoir right next to the radiator with 10" of vertical fall to the pump...

Always had problems before at high rpm but since I moved it ...none

We just installed a PSC Reservoir on my 74 today. Previously, I had a homemade Reservoir that created a lot of cavitation and introduced air into the fluid. The PSC appears to have very little fluid sloshing around and it looks good as well. The negative is obviously the price but it seems to have solved my problem and I was just tired of dealing with it so I spent the money. I looked at all sorts of reservoirs before deciding on the PSC but if you want something with dual returns the list of options is extremely limited.

The stainless tank that Jamie makes is amazing. You can have extra fittings for a cooler etc.. added. It's pretty affordable as well.

Duffy:

Do you have some more pics of it that show length, where the ports are located, etc.?

Thanks,

Just my thoughts , But if you buy an aftermarket one get a return port for H/B even if you never plan on doing it. Just incase, A $6.00 cap is cheaper than a new Reservoir.
