Well it worked for Jonathan Ward! Figured taking a super rare car as the basis for a frankenstein truck was the ticket to big $$$. Next thing he will probably ICON makeover a stroppe

Made me think of the Rocky Road balloon chase hack.

Current #4 on list, VIN 732027, has now been fully restored to original stock specs. I’ve not seen it yet in person, but judging from previous restorations by the builder, it will be a near perfect factory restoration. The builder is trying to get the owner to “debut” it at the Lonestar Round Up in April.

See page 1 for the “before” picture. (Sorry about the sideways pic - copied from a text.)

Careful what you wish for! CFB beat him to the punch. Luckily its subtle changes and not a full coyote swap. It could easily be brought back

Would the earliest ones have been sold in far off Canada
Newfoundland or somewhere ?

That’s where all the first day mustangs went so accounting for transport time they would have them to unveil at the same day as the rest of the US

My buddy has 732231. A U13 that he is in the process of building. It was a tan color originally. Has 26,000 miles. No radio. No dash pad. I asked him for a picture but he said it is totally dismantled right now

I sold a 66 Roadster a few years ago that was an August 65 build. I'll see if I can find any VIN info on it.

I've owned a U13, 735001 since I was 16 in 1971. Had full doors and a convertible top and 57500 miles when I got it, has 60200 miles now. I rolled it about 6 months after I got it, started repairs, took it all apart, and pretty much forgot about it for 40+ years. Just starting to get it back to original now.

Congrats! Sounds like you're one of the longest-term roadster owners out there. Looking forward to seeing pics.

I wished everyone would have listed the model along with the VIN. U13,U14. or U15

In the description out to the right of each vin, it tells a little about the bronco, and usually if its a u13, half cab or wagon.

Welcome, definitely a long time owner. What part of the country are you in?
