A buddy saw this picture floating around Facebook. Just thought I’d post it here.

Of all the "guesses" out there I like this one the best. Makes more sense too to have a relevant front and rear. No way a bar could go thru the roof and not leak....although the idea may be to make it leak just like the originals did. :)

Ever notice how hardly any of the other "guesses" have side blinkers or wrap around lights for such?

This one is not bad either:

Is it just me or have trucks almost doubled in price in last 10 years? I bought a loaded 2wd Dodge Ram in 2007 for just under $24k, now that same truck is close to $40K. Maybe it's gas/fuel prices are down (but inching back up) so people are buying bigger, IDK. Then talk about a new diesel :eek:

I'm just ready for incomes to catch up to the Automotive prices, they'll be financing for 15-30 years on trucks before long

Financing for 8 years available now! Whats that worth after 8 years of payments? Borrower is slave to the lender...... im out! HAAHAA income catch up to car prices! HAAA that's the funniest thing ive heard in awhile! Gas has been down for awhile now so the construction guys aren't driving escorts up and down the highway anymore, all the diesel trucks are back. For now. All the suv/truck prices have gone way up. That's ok when gas spikes again used Raptors will finally be cheap.

Picture didn’t turn out too good. But that’s basically an F250 with an off road package for over $100K

I thought the 74,000 dollar sticker price was high, for a hundred grand I would rather buy a piece of property. Ken

I assume prices will be around 30K. That's the going rate for a mid size truck, of course the amount of options will push the price way up. And yup the dealers are going to rape people that buy the first run of broncos. Just like the Raptors they were jacking up the price 10 K over sticker. I will wait, even if they are good looking and have the options I want. I try my best not to buy a car/truck in the first year of production. Give them a year to work out the bugs.

And yes new truck prices are crazy. I paid $41,000 for a F250 FX4 XLT trim with the 6.0 in 2004, I paid $51,000 for a F150 FX4 Lariat in 2016. But I will say that the F150 is nicer than that F250 in a lot of ways!

Property will hold its value better than new car/truck. Just about any financial advisor will say buying new car/truck about the worst thing to do with your money. Just like with mustang.... buy a new mustang and its gona be technicaly superior than any vintage STOCK mustang but the new one will lose nearly all its value in short time were as right now classic mustangs are holding there value well for now intill next generation takes over. Same is going to happen with new Bronco. Everybody keeps making the new bronco renderings have raptor grill im betting the new Bronco is going to be retro looking. And we are all going to want one to some extent but our classic/early Bronco's are going to have better value in long run. I had a new 08 GT500 signed by Carol Shelby and I let it go because I got bored with it (I didn't build it) it was losing value and payments were keeping me from completing my Australian Falcon XB coupe. The Shelby you can find for 20k now and My Falcon is worth more than half my house. Plus I built it.

Our dealership just got in a loaded F350 with a $84k sticker in the window new Navigators also go over $90K depending the options.

Basically giving the car market to Europe and Japan (and Korea), what a shame. Audi and BMW are chic, and Toyota and Honda kill everyone on quality. Kia is not far behind. I guess they just threw in the towel. I do have concerns with the big 3 putting all of their eggs in two baskets (trucks and SUVs). Hope it works out for them in the long run.

Now where's my New Bronco!

Now where's my New Bronco!

We had a Ford rep at the LEBC Round Up this past weekend and he addressed the crowd for a few minutes. He confirmed that Ford will be focusing on Trucks, Utilities and Performance. As the article says the Mustang will be kept in the line up but will likely get out of the sedan market. Interestingly he said they are developing a performance SUV based on the Mustang. That should be interesting. He threw out some statistics to support Ford's new direction so I'm not sure throwing in the towel is the right description. They ran a market analysis and concluded that market is dying.

He was not allowed to divulge much on the new Bronco (he came with corporate "approved" talking points!) but did say it was going head to head with the best competition (inferring Wrangler) and that they were looking to work with aftermarket companies for aftermarket support. The vendors in attendance liked that! Overall he didn't give much new info but what he said seemed to say they were going to have a Wrangler competitor and they were going to do it better. So, fingers crossed they actually come out with something we Bronco enthusiasts like.
