Started remove the suspension before really closely evaluating the body, this was definitely not a good approach.

Shot of the original 302 it did start and run ok. Also a few shots of rust and shady fixes. The entire floor was replaced with some straight sheet metal.

Body is removed and the engine is front and center. Somewhere around this time, the coyote swap was decided as the gameplan.

Rear springs are hung, this is the wild horses 2.5" suspension front and rear. Front and Rear shocks came in around this time as well along with a much anticipated arrival

Testing fitting the ford 9 inch housing, it is a small bearing setup. In retrospect should have swapped to another housing option but had already received brakes and rear axles. End up moving the housing back a 1.25" in prep for the wheel and tire choice. Test fitting the rebuilt dana 44 as well. Rebuilt with 4.11 gears and detroit truetrac.

love those, where did you get them?

These are coy's wheels, https://www.coyswheel.com/shop

They are 18X8 the model is C-33
4.5" backspacing

Most days i wish they had more backspacing. Depending on the angle a picture is taken they can look very different. Same for real life, but they don't offer any moret. They are machined for 10 1/8 dog dish caps.

Where did you find the caps for these?
