• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Not mine but thought it was a pretty nice truck for the price.

Nice truck. Only thing I never liked about that generation of Ford trucks was the gas tank behind the seat inside the cab. That just did not seem safe to me.

By the time the gas tank inside the cab gets crushed or penetrated it is most likely you will already be dead.
After I realized that I stopped worrying about the tank being there.

I do agree with you on that, but I still don't like the idea of it,and apparently Ford didn't either as by the later 1970's I think they done away with using the in cab tank. I built F series pick-ups at the Ford Louisville Assembly Plant from 1973 through mid 1982 and I don't recall seeing an in cab fuel tank after 1975. But then again that was a long time ago and my memory is a rusty these days.

that was a very fair deal, somebody got a solid truck. fixing the tank issue would be easy while you were tubbing the bed for some "meat" on the rear axles you could put a tank in between the frame rails.;D
