I just finished building some tube doors for the bronco. Rather than paint them I shot them with that rubber undercoating stuff. Pretty happy with the results:

Here is one. How about my half cab soft top. It works great. You can run with just the top or with the cab enclosed, or with the sun shade on in the back. It is dry in a storm, breezy in the heat.

That is awesome!!!!!!!!!! Wish it would fit with my cage!

writeup?

I wanted more control over my rig in the difficult parts. I already had granny low,Dana 20 straight shift 2.46and 5.13 gears. But I felt the need for slower movement. So I started thinking and I developed a doubler using a np 203,1.98. So with everything doubled down ,I ended up with 167 to 1. And when done I am only 5/8 of an inch longer than stock. I love it.

where's the write-up on this so-called doubler??

I'm more interested in how to put a doubler in line and only add a half inch length.

However, you did point to a cheaper 203 adapter kit, so thanks.

Lots of mods to show but this one I made last week to let me keep the stock windshield visors. I could not run the stock plastic wiper motor cover because of my drop bracket for the motor and my cage is also in the way.
It worked well and was easy to make. I welded two washers to the ends of a 1/2 tube then folded some 1" flat stock.

Here is what i did

the darker part is what i cut off another wiper cover. Then i cut the end off the original. Grafted them together and used a dome light to help support the seam

And here is a finAl pic from the bottom to see the dual dome lights ( i wrapped them in woodgrain trim applique for the sides of old station wagons and used a heat gun to remove most of thenwrinkles and form it around the edges)

I came across this thread when searching for fold and tumble seat options. it has a lot of cool ideas but hasn't been updated it a while so I will add my dash build to it, I don't know if this really fits since I didn't build it, but I did design it, and worked with a guy named Dan Dilner to fabricate it. it is a nice design, it is simple and clean, fits all the stock mounting points, it uses a stock plastic defrost duct, and a dash pad fits fine. I don't think I will use one but it will fit fine. he designed it in a cad program using all my original stuff so he can easily design anything you can dream up to fit. he sells jeep dashes now and is looking to expand into the bronco market if anyone is interested.

I will also add my fuel tank mod, I borrowed this one from another member. I have lost his contact information so I apologize to him. But, I think it is such a cool mod it deserves to be here. if anyone knows who did it first please credit them. it is a hagan semi curved 45 door that has a capless filler like a new car.https://www.haganauto.com/product_p/fd45rqp.htm I used a filler neck I got from tanks ink and modified to have a vent hose and then used a tanks ink special rubber filler neck hose to complete the attachment. I also added a charcoal canister to the tank and so far I am not getting any significant gas odor from it.

btw the thumbnail pic is from the guy I got the information from, sorry I forgot his name so I can't give proper credit.
