• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Unfortunately this is what our trucks are going for now. I think this is a fair price for a pretty straight body. Original paint (meaning not all filler), door posts, cowl, etc. in good condition. I'd take this over a shiny turd with no history any day.

As a restorer / builder I can't agree more. What you see is what you get. For me, nothing worse than media blasting a "straight" Bronco to find it's mostly bondo. And po funky previous owner mods. I mean, it's a bummer that it is missing some drum brake parts and the fenders, bumpers and seats, but it hasn't been beaten or had "cover up" See my recent post in the main message forum about a Bronco I'm working on - just to make it useable for the guy who paid hi 20s for it.

So then, I can't help but ask: as a restorer, why haven't you snatched this "deal" up as a restore and sell project?

Too busy. I'm turning away work. I mainly work on Broncos that people already own - I dont buy a Bronco restore it and sell it. I'd rather have someone pick out what they want to do to it and have me do it. Plus - see my signature - My lot is full, I'm a small shop not a walmart sized "Bronco showcase".

That being said, if someone wants to buy it and have me put it together, I'd do it.....just wont be starting til December or January - thats my first avail.

And I can't store it here til January.... :)

I'm also not an uncut Bronco kind of guy - I've only done 2 uncuts. Here's a sample of what I usually do.

Jspurl just did a Boxwood that's similar! Nice to see un-oxidized Boxwood, it's a great color.

Haha. The last re-uncut bronco to come they here turned out to be a stroppe modified bronco when new. So it got re-cut! Owned by a forum member still. Cut for flares twice!
