We don't use no stinkin' trailers. Two-man tents are fine. You don't want to know how far back-of-beyond this is.

Hi Knack, that is a pretty cool trailer that you are pulling. Is it military surplus that you customized yourself ?

Thanks, it's an old M416. Adding a gate in the back was the only major modification. Won't float any more, but neither does the Bronco.

The camper structure is held on with a couple straps and clamps. Pretty easy to remove and store when I want to use the trailer for hauling.

Here is a picture of our last Bronco camping/fishing trip a few years back. Just a tarp and a cot.

My wife doesn't do tent camping anymore so this is how we usually camp now. ;D

Towed Broncos aren't very impressive. Anyone with $ can do that.
Now a towing Bronco. That's impressive. It takes ingenuity and guts.

I drag mine and I drive it. The longest trip I’ve done so far was driving it. 3800 round trip.

The 1st pic is us back in October of '84 on a 6 week, 6,000 mile camp trip with the kids. Pic here is 50 miles NE of Knaab, in the middle of nowhere...Bull Gorge if anybody local recognizes that 3' wide crack in the rock...

The 2nd pic is last year at "The Pad's" in Death Valley on the way home from Sand Hollow, UT.

Just curious how many of these tow rigs are efi or carb. Do any of you guys put a few hundred miles or more when towing? How do they handle with a pop up in tow.
I'm thinking of getting a pop up to tow behind my bronco.

I've been looking at the Fleetwood E1 and the Jayco baja.

Mine has an Explorer 5.0 with EFI and C4. Planning to regear and swap in a 4R70w this winter.

I recommend you use sway control, it really makes a difference. I have had mine up to 80 with it, cruise 70-75 with ease.
