1977 LUBR Bahama Blue Paint & Other Questions

I've finally bit the bullet and have decided to paint my 77 Bronco. The original plan was to paint it Bahama Blue (as per original) but I haven't seen any great picture of a bronco that's been repainted in that color. Would anyone have a recent picture of a Bahama Blue re-painted bronco? I'll be painting the dash, grill, and top in Wimbledon White while the body is being sprayed.

For reference here's mine before I sent it off to paint (currently in previous owner's primer job).

Here's what I hope it will look like (assuming this is actually Bahama Blue).

As the body work and paint progress I'll provide some updates; in the meantime I'm sure I'll have other questions. Thanks.

I think if it was originally Bahama Blue, I would go back with it. It is a great color on a Bronco!

Paint update

Well she's finally (10 months later) back from paint. Went with Bahama Blue and Wimbledon White on the top, the grill, and dash. I'm happy with it. 👍🏼

Next up is fitting the interior and new tires. Any recommendations on reaplcement seats? I have the original seats with replacement covers and foam from Toms but I think I'm better off buying new ones after reupholstering two of the seats. I want to keep it fairly original looking - anyone have two front seats in parchment for sale?

Thanks guys - I'm really happy with it.

Any ideas on factory seats? I really only need two front factory seats in parchment.

Not to hijack, but what didn't you like about the seats you recovered? I'm about to do foam and recover a set and any info (photos) would be appreciated.

No problem. My frames aren't in the best of condition and I'm pretty sure my passenger seat is mismatched (drivers side base and passenger back?) I did manage to reupholster my passenger seat and back seat. The driver's seat wouldn't come apart and is in rough shape.

Thanks for the info. Was just on Craigslist, sorry not familiar with how to attach the link - but found a set of parchment buckets. Was the Mid-Atlantic region/Carlisle.

Thinking of selling... so here's a short run down of what's been done.

1977 bronco sport. Drive train was rebuilt by previous owner,No rust (floor pans have been replaced, Stripped prior to paint, minimal body filler). 302 with an automatic transmission. Interior bed lined - was going to install carpet kit over it later. Have entire upholstery kit($750), have 2 driver seats and 2 passenger seats (I've reupholstered one (okay job), and the back seat (plywood needs to be replaced). Ordered all new gaskets ($400ish from toms), all new bezels and light fixtures, etc. spent over $2500 in parts from toms. Drives well (except bias ply tires - was going to replace). Also have aftermarket A/C kit (compressor and lines installed, unit is not) and a locker for the rear (used, uninstalled).

In all a great bronco, just don't have the time to finish it with a 2 year old and twins on the way! I'll post it in the classifieds but feel free to message me if you're interested.
