Ready for body work and paint, question

Getting ready to send my body to a painter for final body work and paint.
I bought someone's unfinished project so a lot of the panels have been replaced (quarters, rockers, door pillars etc.) History unknown.

The plan was to put the body on the frame for him to make sure everything is aligned before paint then take the body off to keep overspray off chassis. The plan is to eliminate sending the completed chassis to the paint shop.

Question: I have a bare chassis/roller. Would I have problems if I aligned the panels and painted the body on the other roller then transfer it to the completed chassis?

I'm worried about how things will line up.

Thanks

IMO you should do final alignment on the frame you are using along with new body mount bushings. could save yourself a lot of grief down the road.

Sorry for semi thread drift but is there an correct or preferred order of sheet metal parts assembly on chassis? I have asked several vendors and web search with no results. Floor, tunnel, cowl, pillars, doors, front inner fenders, etc ? Thanks.

I'll be using all new body mount bushings as just about everything Is new or rebuilt.
That was another thought-line it up then transfer it to the rolling frame.

Chances are it will be different from one frame to the next. I built mine on one frame and then moved it over to the other. Things changed. Had to add shims on some body mounts and shave some from others

Definitely the way to go...
