Bronco Heater Quick Question

I have the Pull For Heat, Fan Speed which are self explanatory but what does the Temperature Control knob do and how does it do it? We had a freaky 70 degree day here in OH yesterday and today it's in the 30's. But one of the reasons I sold my Mustang and got the Bronco was to drive year round! Where exactly should I feel the heat blowing from? Is there a switch for Defrost? Thanks everyone -Jeff

Left knob is pull for defrost. push for floor. center knob is pull for heat and fan switch. Right knob is pull for hot temp push for cool. Goes to a valve under hood in a heater hose to regulate how much antifreeze goes to the heater.

Thanks folks! My setup looks a little different, see pic TEMPERATURE CONTROL is on the left, and I believe bezel is aftermarket (non-TEMP) and the fan control says PULL FOR DEF instead of HEAT, and PULL FOR HEAT has its own knob...interesting

The "Temperature Control" bezel is right for a 66. Later models have "Temp Control", and some are blank I think.

Everything on a 66 is weird.
