I have an all original 1968 Jeep Kaiser Wagoneer I need to sell. The original 327 Vigilante V8 motor (completely rebuilt less than 2,000 miles ago) is the heart of the drivetrain is backed by a GM 400 turbo hydra-matic 3-spd transmission (also rebuilt 2,000 miles ago) and Dana transfer case. A new power brake booster, all new hoses and belts, etc. have been installed as has been a new muffler and rear tailpipe. Starts with the turn of the key and runs great with no issues what so ever. The three speed automatic transmission shifts beautifully and the power brakes stop like a newer SUV.
The original Gold Beige Metallic color. Seats are covered in their original black pleated cloth (some wear on the lower driver's side seat but covered with a cover and an uncovered seam tear on the upper seat) with a steel dash of chrome gauges and switches, an all original AM radio factory, power rear window (works beautifully), clean rear cargo mat and the factory vinyl dash pad is flawless as is the original headliner (you won't find a nicer dash pad or headliner on a vintage Wagoneer) and stock black vinyl door panels and arm rests. The body is straight and solid with only a few body repairs needed mainly in the lower rear quarter panels (see info in description above). Full factory-style rear quarters are provided as replacements and/or to use as patches for the lower areas needing panel repair. Roof and hood were recently repainted original color in preparation for full restoration which we did not complete as noted in description.
Power brakes with new shoes and drums, trailer hitch, clean frame, all original weather striping, electric wipers, original hubcaps, good tire tread, really nice original Jeep horn ring, dual horns and curved chrome bumpers and full chrome window trim on all 8 windows, great glass and anodized razor grille.
