Made some got progress past couple of days on getting to the point of being able to put it back together and finish the EFI and Vintage Air Gen IV installs.

Been working with the Primer, Bondo, Color and Clear and considering that I don't have really any experience with bodywork it came out pretty nice. Should have sprayed a guide coat on the passenger side and it would have come out a bit better but honestly to me it is gonna look really good gotta let it dry a couple days and then I can start running the wiring harnesses back into place. ;D

Here are some pics.

For those that are interested, got the fuel pump mounted today. Not alot of progress but rolling around underneath the truck drilling and tapping 4 holes is not really all that easy and not something that goes quickly. %) As a matter of fact it was a pain in the ARSE! LOL.

Also removed the BC Broncos fuel line kit that I installed previously. Hopefully I can maybe use it on another truck or something.

Here is a pic of the pump mounted to the crossmember in front of the fuel tank. Hopefully it will be safe there. ;D

What psi pump is that?

You still have TEXAS in you?

Shamu,

Hell Yeah I still have Texas in me! Grew up in NJ but lived in TX for close to 10 years. I honestly miss not being down there. Enjoyed my time there. TX will always be in me and hopefully I can move back down there one day. ;D

Thanks guys! Overall, I am pretty happy with how it came out. The middle section where I patched up some unused holes came out really nice. The side closest to the fender was actually pretty awkward to work on even though it was closer. %)

Tonight I worked on getting the top of the cowl looking better and it was a bit of a pain in the butt. Actually ran out of paint from the can that I had mixed up to match. It is a pretty close match but bit darker than the original. Will have another can mixed up tomorrow for the remainder of the work on the cowl, firewall and underdash console.

Hopefully I can get the top of the cowl finished tomorrow and start reinstalling the wiring harnesses! ;D

Thats some seriously nice work dude!! Cant wait to see it man ;D

Thanks Herman! Gotta respray the top of the Cowl because the spray can was getting low and it came out a little inconsistent. Should be easy to fix though. ;D

By the way, bodywork is definitely A LOT OF WORK!!!! LOL!!!

Finished painting the top of the cowl tonight and it is currently drying in the garage. Hopefully no dust is flying in there! ;D

Otherwise, came out pretty good. Not perfect but looks a heck of alot better than it did before. Considering that I am probably way too anal about things, I am happy with how it will look. If/When I repaint the exterior I will make it perfect then.

Plan on getting alot done tomorrow with the Vintage Air Gen IV, EFI and the wiring harnesses reinstalled. I will post pics for those interested tomorrow night. :)

Ok, today was fairly productive! Had some setbacks but was able to get the Vintage Air Gen IV Evaporator and the heater control valve installed under the Dash for good! ;D

Many thanks to Herman for stopping by and giving me a hand! The extra hands came in handy for sure and I don't think that I would have been able to get it installed by myself. Thanks Buddy! I owe you big time for the help tonight.

Finished painting the top of the passenger side cowl last night and Very happy with the results overall.

Also started installing the wiring harness for the EFI and was able to finish up the plumbing for the heater core in the Gen IV. Still have to run the lines for the A/C in the engine compartment but heading in the right direction and that is a good thing for sure. ;D

Very Happy with the EFI harness so far as well. so far I have been able to keep the harness tucked away! You don't even notice it there and that is a good thing. I am doing my best to keep the install very clean and uncluttered.

Here are some pics from today!

Great minds think alike . . . .I'm just not one of them.

I need to move some relays around (that were placed for the Gen II, then I changed my mind) to get it all the way up against the raised cowl - about 2" more to go.

. . . and see what I was working with to start. . . .and what color it used to be.

Backpain,

Looks really good! Raising the cowl doesn't seem like much but it makes a difference with hiding the evap for sure. Good luck with the rest of the install. ;D

I should be able to get alot of mine done by the weekend! The EFI for sure and finish routing the harness under the dash and back into the Engine compartment and get things wired up.

Ok, got to work on it a bit tonight and was able to get most of the wiring run back into the engine compartment. Also made the connections at the battery for the EFI and the Vintage Air Gen IV unit. Using the side posts on the battery for the accessories that I am connecting like the Vintage Air and the RJM EFI harness. kept it nice and neat. :)

Not a whole lot but any progress is good progress. Have to finish up organizing the wiring under the dash tomorrow. Bit of a mess right now but that is gonna change soon enough. ;D

Can't wait to get this thing running! Hopefully it will run. LOL!

Here are some pics of the wiring!
