Well... I'm still here and long overdue for an update.
I've since moved to a new place a few towns away from the old homestead, hence all the Bronco shuffling pictures in the above posts.
A big thanks to my local Bones(and Eones:cool:) brothers during the move, could not have done it without all your help! I am grateful.
also had to find the time and the means to acquire a newer Expedition(the white one)that I couldn't turn down to replace the old one....thanks Tasker!

So between the move and everything else I've been pretty busy, but I have found time here and there to pick away at the Bronco.
It's still sitting in a corner at my shop, hopefully will be bringing it to the new house/garage soon to finish things up after I get the drive train back in.
In the mean time Ive finished rebuilding the steering column, cleaned up the speedo cluster and put the dash all back together. installed the power steering box and new borgeson shaft. the motor has seen a few changes but is about ready to drop in... and, oh, I cut a big ole' hole in the floor.;D

Thanks! hope I don't disappoint...

engine and transmission are now mated for the first time, should be dropping it in tomorrow.
also, for anyone wondering about fitting the clutch mount adapter tab on newer engine blocks, I tackled that as well today. You can see what I ground away to make room for the tab and bolt(sorry, forgot to take a before pic). I ended up using my own grade 8 mounting hardware though, mostly because I had it on hand. overall, it fit fine and feels plenty sturdy.

This is the dirty Bronco... the next build will be cleaner;D

After months(years?:?)...the drive train is back in!
well, technically the bell housing is the only piece original to this truck.;D
thankfully it all went in without any real hiccups. I will need to re bend the shifter to clear the dash, but I did get lucky with the lower idler pulley of the serpentine set up, it clears the front cross member.
