My pulley is also a bolt on dual groove but like stated before it is a 250 out of a Maverick. My 200 that I pulled had a dual groove bolt-on

So basically from what I can gather it looks as if the pulley that I have only works with the BC bronco bracket you guys suggested I get rid of. I put the pump back on the BC bracket this evening and it lined up with the pulley. So that being said looks like I need to get a pulley that will work with the new bracket I bought. Stout22 (Roger) may have a double pulley on one of his old engines that will work. Man I sure hope so. You guys think this is a reasonable assumption about the BC bracket?

Although I wouldn't recommend the BC bracket, I did run it and the cockeyed belt for probably five years until I upgraded to the Borgeson bracket.

If you're trying to avoid spending any more money, you can use the BC bracket.

It’s not really about the money. I just hate that I spent the money on this system and cant use some of the parts. Even if I use the BC bracket the fan blade is still hitting the pulley now this may be due to the fan being bent or something. If Roger cant come through with the double pulley I will just order the one from CJ Pony parts and use that one. I like the Borgeson bracket better.

I used the BC bracket with the bolt on pulley like the one I posted earlier and had no alignment issues. One issue could be the location of mounting holes for the bracket. The location of the holes appears to change depending on the year. When I originally set up my power steering on the 170 it aligned fine, later I swapped in a 200 from a 68 mustang and I had to modify the BC bracket to accommodate the different mounting holes in the later block.

You just need the correct spacer for the fan. Very common thing to swap when adding pulleys at the crank. Even on V8 Broncos.

'70s 'n '80s had PS on a 170/200 & 250.
I like OEM stuff.
However I have on-bd-air, sno plow, PS & alternator/welder.
I get parts from the i6 engine supplier that fills in where Classic Inlines usedta B -
vintage inlines dot com.
Got 3 shive HB for same price as your 2, 2 shiv H2o Pump (non chrome) there.

I have heard that installing power steering on a straight six will rob it of 15% power. You guys that have power steering on a straight six have you noticed this. My fear is I will be running 33's and if I steel 15% more power by adding power steering am I even gonna be able to go down the road LOL!!!

As long as it is down hill;D;D;D sorry just had to do it

That PS pump belt is going to squeal like crazy and need to be constantly re-tensioned by only going to the crank. It'll work, but should be triangulated with a dual groove water pump pulley.
