NicksTrix custom build. corporate cruiser
here's an inside look to a build we had displayed at the Gore MEB event last weekend. it was en route to be delivered to the CEO of a boston based company. it is to be used to cruise around town, take rides up the coast, to weekend cabin get aways, attend company outdoor functions... a fair weather northern bronco you can say.
the owner originally purchased it on ebay from someone in GA. it was a typical ebay "restoration". shiny coat of cheap paint covering up some nasty bodywork, couple new parts installed. being unfamiliar with broncos and somewhat non mechanical, he was disapointed once he realized what he had.
our shop was contacted early last year and a spot was booked.
here's how it turned out once done. it was a 9 month build.
specs:
77, cut on all 4 fenders.
347 stroker, carb'd, c4 auto package, 4:11 gears, 33"' BFG A/t tires, WH 2.5 spring pakcage, Bilstein shocks, NT air package in custom dash, custom interior & soft top.
it was a full chem strip build. this chassis was the one i showed a while back being galvanized. it needed complete floors and some exterior sheet metal.
it's painted in PPG products, SEM bedliner inside & under.
it has some of the NT custom features such as the drop wiper package, sport cage, gas assist tire carrier, touch point gps sound system, custom wiring and loaded with details..
below are a few shots of it. more pictures will be featured on the web site.
his friends and family where there for the delivery and where thrilled. they couldn't believe it was the same truck.
enjoy!

Man that is a sweet looking ride!! Love the paint color. You wouldn't happen to have the paint specs would you? Color code, etc?

Nick,
Thank you for bringing this back to life and depositing it up in our neck of the woods. My guess looking at the center console is that this will be representing a certain t shirt brand up my way. Great job!

few more pics.
color is the classis ford, gm, dodge orange. pretty much same formula, different name pending on manuf. the cream is a custom blend. it matches the interior and top materials.
fatboy you are correct. you might find it parked on newberry street from time to time

We might just have to see if we can indoctrinate him into the BONES group. (I will need to put Randy on that task{er}) Don tells me you followed him up the coast!

i've got the scoop on the bones deal. the owner isn't really that type of guy. he's somewhat private for obvious reasons & very busy.
yes don guided us up the route into town, which was appreciated. sucked it rained a good bit of the way. but it washed the drool off... so no worries biff.
don here's a pic for you.
yes 30* out the vent. i made a reduction on the pressure so it wouldn't be so cold after that pic. the evap freezes up, you end up having to run some heat through it to avoid it if you have it cranked. it's still hanging meat cold as all my packages are. quite nice on a hot day.
thanks for the kind comments~

Sweet work Nick! I wish I had gotten a chance to take a closer look at the Roundup! I get so busy running around I often miss getting to look at all the rigs!
I hope you convinced him to make some EB based shirts. I know they have done several with Heeps, my brother bought me one not realizing I'd never wear it!

drew, i discussed it with him previously and some of the staff when i was in the design center first of the week. right now they are working on the lineup for late 2010, so it might be a while until one shows up. never say never..
i did tell him you make it, they will come..ala field of dreams..
