Parts gathering... big orders from Wild Horses, BC Broncos and Currie Axles (front axle)...Rear axle housing is back at John's Industries for final welding.

Putting my other toy, that I just finished enough to drive on the road this summer, away for the winter to free up space and time (and money!)...

I just started watching Red Bull's Driving Dirty this weekend - this thread is so perfectly timed. And by perfectly I mean the combination had me daydreaming really bad ideas... This will be fun to watch!

Fitted and installed my rear skid plate.

Reinforced my radius arm mounting brackets. (no photo)

Received my front spindles and disc brake brackets from 350hertz.

Received my T-bird calipers from toddz69, got some more brake parts coming from him as well.

Had the center holes of my rear drums enlarged to fit my Warn hubs properly. Thanks to Paul Curry at D&G Machine, Westbrook, ME.

Between work being very busy, helping with my wife's health issues, and the damn cold and snow I have not been able to make any sparks fly recently...but I have been able to gather some more parts...

Picked up a nice used MSD (came from a NASCAR race car) ignition set up. Dual pick up billet distributor, GM switch to run two MSD boxes, dual coil set up, rev limiter, wider cap, harness pieces...

New power steering pump from BC Broncos.

Ford Motorsports valve covers.

Rear axle bump stops. I will need to modify the mounts a little but they will fit / work well for my application.

Fiberglass hood.

I checked in on my engine at the machine shop yesterday. Main cap studs installed, and it has been align honed. The stroker kit has been ordered.

Also picked up more parts. Crane inner knuckles and Reid Racing knuckles.

My rear axle housing came back from it's final welding at John's Industries.

More parts gathering and more welding and grinding on frame and skid plates.

Had my Australian Cleveland 2v heads CC'd. So will go with flat top pistons that will give approx 10.5 to 1 compression ratio.

I will post more photos this evening...

Weld, grind, repeat...Started on the center skid plate / pan. It is held on with four countersunk screws. Will close up the area between the inner rockers and frame next. Boxed my motor mounts. Closed off the area between the front cross member and the front bumper reinforcement. Lengthened the slots on the transmission / transfer cross-member mounts to compensate for the longer four speed transmission.

Looking forward to it tasker!

Today I got home from work a little early, so I had the opportunity to finish up my rear bump stops. They are from a Nissan Pathfinder. I needed to cut and bend the mounts to make them sit level / horizontal...

I hope to have the truck right side up again this weekend...
