Honestly all I noticed was the roll bar first, didn't see anything else until I actually got to look at it. Guy didn't know what he had but was asking too much for a regular bronco.

Welcome to the club. Was it originally sold at a Ford dealer in Alaska?

Nice Find!! I like the heavy patina on that fender - it should make a great wall hanger! ;D

This thing is so awesome. It is part of a very cool DSO group, being the missing link
between my Baja and Andrews old 4 speed Baja. Yes, only one VIN number after mine!
Another cool note is Andrews green Baja was sold at Friendly Ford in Fresno, and this one
was sold at Friendly Ford in Las Vegas. Pretty neat.

Andrew, has anybody ever owned sequential VIN Bajas at the same time that you know of?

I don't know of anyone who has owned sequential vins at same time. But honestly this ones coming here for some seriously needed resto work!

I do know of a guy that owned 2 Baja Broncos at the same time, and they were made on the same day, but 4000 or so units off by VIN. I had them here at my shop together too, so I took a pic of the birthday Broncos together.

Lastly, an odd one I knew of was 2 1973 Bajas, 3 VINs apart, but with sequential original CA license plates...... 890 HTG and 891 HTG

Congrats on yet another worthy candidate. Great find! I'm curious, how bad is the metal after a lifetime of Alaskan winters?

Well, it'll need rockers and some post work, and likely floors. However, it didn't have a lifetime in Alaska, as it was sold new in Vegas. It stayed south long enough to start leaking because thenaxles aren't rusty and the front axle tag is perfectly legible. More so than my former 72 Baja that was in San Diego and Baja its whole life.
