Long Travel Single Rear Shock Mounts-On hold for now

New rear shock mounts for those looking for an alternative to mounting a single shock in the forward leaning position.
This is an updated design of the previous version, I made a few minor changes and they are a little lighter as well.

They are designed to fit a longer than stock shock and will only work with a 1" or taller body lift. A 1" lift will require minor trimming of the lower wheel tub lip under the floor, any body lift taller than 1" should not require any trimming.
The mounts are tilted upward slightly to better match the angle of the shock.
Shock length will ultimately depend upon suspension lift and travel, where the rear axle is positioned and location of the upper and lower mounts.

Made from 3/16" hot rolled P&O steel with 3/16" along with 1-1/2" .188 wall DOM tubing. The shock mounting tabs have 1-1/2" inner spacing and holes for 1/2" bolts.

They are only available as bare steel, You will need to to paint or coat them as You see fit.

They can be welded on or bolted on to the frame rail.
I do have available an additional 7/16" grade 8 mounting hardware and backing plate kit as an option for bolting through the frame rail.

Sold in sets consisting of a left and right shock mount.

Also available with the addition of the optional mounting hardware to attach them to the frame.

Lower shock mounts are not included, there are many options out there and differing ideas on how and where to fit them.

+++Please be advised, if planning on using Bilstein 7100 model shocks with remote reservoir, there can be clearance issues that may need to be dealt with due to the hose fitting angle where it exits the shock body.+++

product production on hold at this time, Thank You.

Here are some pictures from my build showing potential fitting for reference.

Did you sell these on eBay a few years ago? I remember seeing something similar.

No, that was not me, but I am familiar with those. Mine came about as a result of a member contacting me inquiring if I could make something similar, as those appeared to no longer be available. Needing something for my own Bronco as well I took on the task.;D

thanks for the inquiries. I am currently working on a new set with some minor changes. I will post them up hopefully soon once they're ready and pricing is determined.
