    Blueprint Engines are a mess!!!

Many years ago I bought a used engine from a place , they advertised dyno tested etc The front accessory on the engine was damaged , and the damage was rusted , No way was this engine every on a dyno , I got the runaround when I called , They kept saying they’d send a new ps pump and water pump...

    Bitchin Rides

When we watch the show or other shows my son always googled the name of the customer to see what they did for a living . Sometimes It’s “Mr so and so is the owner of a landscape company “ or whatever Some businesses make good money and if the customer does it right , the vehicle is tax...

    Blueprint Engines are a mess!!!

No way I’d let the deposit stay longer than whatever the credit card company will do a chargeback . The longer someone has your money the less likely you are to get it back or ever get the parts .

    Bitchin Rides

I thought the wheels were neat Overall to me it’s too tall and tires too big Just doesn’t look quite right But they do quality work for sure . Did they mention what the chassis costs in the show ? I kinda skipped around in the show and missed it

    OCBR CBs or radios?

We used GMRS The radios you buy at Walmart in the 2 pack A lot of the radios will do both FRS and GMRS And we used the GMRS channels because they had twice the range I don’t know of anyone who actually gets the fcc license for them . The place I worked at has been using them for over 20...

    OCBR CBs or radios?

It would be a problem if you start talking on ham frequencies , the FCC Probabaly won’t notice or care , the FCC certainly doesn’t care that some CBers blast out 10,000 watts when the FCC rule says 7 watts , but the other hams would go bonkers , I know several people with GMRS , but I...

    BAT Craziness

I’m convinced The only reason they want an early bronco is because everyone else wants one . If there were still $8k for a nice one , none of the people who now want one , would want one .

    Manual transmission.

Me too. In 1978 when I was 13 in a 1962 Mercury Meteor with the 221 V-8 and three on the tree . Manual steering , manual four wheel drum brakes and no seat belts

    Explorer swap

What’s the last year for the explorer 5.0 ? I saw a cheap V8 explorer for sale near me , ($900) was a 4wd . Not sure if that makes the swap easier or harder .

    Manual transmission.

No such thing as a GOOD shifting column, except maybe for the first three months after it rolled off the assembly line …

    Door pillar cheat or disaster?

only remove and replace one part at a time . Do the door post and get it right and then do the floor or whatever else is next .

For what it's worth, Hagerty thinks values are dropping

Most of the folks that want broncos now only want them because every one else wants them . There is no other explanation for it . The vehicle that’s just under the EB in coolness is still dirt cheap , the jeep commando .

Looking for a roller cam recommendation for a 289

Years ago we owned a four door 62 Mercury Meteor , think it was an extended wheelbase version of the fairlane , anyway it had the 221 with a three in the tree . At the same time we also owned a two door 63 meteor with thw 260 and two speed automatic , with factory bucket seats and console...

Looking Coyote swap shop in California.. or close

I’d just rebuild the 351w and add the factory ford EFI And a five speed manual like a NV 3500 or whatever . Or a four speed auto If you want a roller cam , the 351s in the late 90s 15 passenger vans were roller cam . The easiest and cheapest is to buy a running driving 5.0 explorer and use it...

Duh What did these geniuses think haggertys goal is ? Is haggerty the one that shows old pickups on dirt roads and then the fine print on the policy says they don’t any off pavement driving ?

Earliest Broncos known to exist (1-30)!!

Congrats on the find ! Odd that the earliest ones weren’t from far away Canada , The Earliest produced mustangs got shipped to the far away locations in Canada so they would be there and available to see on the same day as the ones in the states got unveiled .
