Don't you need to start with the door and work forward?

170 straight six rear main seal

Couldn't find one anywhere in the US, but there were two at the local auto parts store??

Considering a turbo | Max safe boost for a 170?

Or see if you can find one of the newer aftermarket aluminum heads that are/were being cast by someone several years ago. Then put it on a 200 or 250. Most people can't tell a 144/170/200/250 by a quick look under the hood.

    170 cu in rebuild kit

250/300 are completely different engines. 240/300 is the same design, different cubic inches. Just to not confuse anyone.

    Hummer H3 Seat Install

No, any seats I've ever installed fit perfectly and looked factory. And if you believe that..... The last ones I did were Recaros in a Mercedes 450SL so I don't even know why I replied to this thread.

Is this frame too far gone?

Wouldn't be too hard to move the vin from the old frame to the new frame. Not that I would do something like that, of course.

    Duplicolor spray paint drips

You have to use whatever topcoat the base or primer says it can use. If you use Duplicolor, you have to use something to take it off so you can put a better quality product on it.

    Body Cart

I have a dolly that a body will sit on if you're interested. PM me if you are interested. Much heavier duty than the one pictured on their site.

Scoop - hope it wasn't me. I tend to irritate people everywhere I go..... SHX669 - I thought it was cool because no one ever asked "what color should I paint my Bronco?"

No offense. I didn't mean anything by it. Just one of those afternoons and you were the first reply. Your take is as valid as mine...

    Welding instruction in the STL?

Exactly as 71' says. You can even save a few pennies, well, a few thousand, and have an electrician come wire you an outlet in the garage. With pictures, we can even second guess your welds remotely if you want. The biggest thing is practice, a lot. And learn to grind, a lot. You'll get there.

Ruined. Ruined he says. Or she. Scoop is pretty androgynous. I liked it. Flavor of the Great Northwest.

    Another 6R80 Investigation

I was planning on a ZF for my 250/EFI build, but due to some nerve problems in my left leg, I don't think I'll be using a clutch pedal any time soon. I am thinking of going with the 6R80 in place of the ZF but am wondering about adapters. I know I can adapt the D20 with a kit from one of the...

    weld through primer parts

Go ahead and scuff and prime over the weld through. I'm not sure about using an etch primer, I'd prefer epoxy. If it's just a seam, you'll be fine, if it's an overlap, use seam sealer before or after epoxy depending what the seam sealer calls for.

    electric power steering

"wasn't engineered for amplified input forces" - Force isn't really amplified. It's just taken away from the driver. Force on the box is the same unless you're steering much faster.....

Parchment Interior Paint 22780 - Urethane Mixing Formula

DBI is PPG's interior formula. Less gloss than exterior in the same color.

    epoxy or por15

That's what seam sealer is for. You don't need to get between metal sheets to stop rust, you just need to stop moisture and oxygen from getting there, so a surface covering works fine as long as it's impervious. Epoxy will seal out O2 and moisture if you get a good coat. My frame is epoxy...

    1966 fixer upper

I've needed to plow the garage out a few times, but never needed chains to get in and out. Snow is a different matter.......
