Edit sorry ... start with 5 quarts mark low add the 6th mark full

I would do as the others say with the amount but do your self a favor drain the oil change the filter then start it up , let it settle check the oil , mark your dip stick , that will be the low level , add the extra quart wait till the oil settles again and then mark your full level

I’m running a 302 so I’m not sure if this applies to a 351 . There is an early and late model intake gasket on a 302 maybe a 351 guru could chime in and answer that question

Also check McMaster carr they have them in all sizes and lift weights

Sorry missed some of the questions when I first replied .... it is the original block I bought this truck almost 30 years ago and drove it for about 2 years and had a wrist pin go out tore it apart and rebuilt it still had ford gaskets and mains and rods .... when I did the mustang conversation...

It is a four bolt pulley I have on it now and I’m almost positive it came off a 90 mustang as far as vibration I never noticed one and it has always run good

Well I have a stock motor that I put mustang fuel injection on about 7 years ago it has been running fine, due to a radiator change I decided to go with the Explorer front dress and had read about the imbalance on the balancer .. I guess I missed that page on the mustang swap. So my question is...

Don’t forget s out cam bearings .... I can’t say for sure on a 302 but I know some motors the oil galley for the sender come off the cam bearings
