    Cross Country Transport

I had a friend that drove a car hauler for dealerships cross country (the semi truck trailers) and if he had an open spot he would transport personal vehicles back and forth between East and West coasts. You might check with an auto dealership and see if they know a hauler like that. Randy

    Couple of questions

If it got hot enough to puke oil out, I’d go ahead and get a new one. Personally wouldn’t the old one. Randy

    Couple of questions

Think of the coil as a miniature transformer on a power pole. There is oil in both of them. Randy

Fun time doing an easy then more difficult recovery

We have “sugar sand” down here. Will put one on the frame if perchance you were to ‘slightly’ spin 7.50-16s…or so I’ve been told. Is that the same thing as “sugar snow”? Randy

    Speedometer Head Question

^^^ high beam indicator. I contemplated saying it was for a micro-tachometer, but reconsidered as it would have been completely a smart a$$ed thing to say. Randy

    Explorer serpentine conversion

Oops, hit post inadvertently before ready to post. 😬 Don’t believe I’ll be going with THIS mod as I just put a new 1-wire alternator and gear reduction starter on when I had the stroker motor done. Just rats! Was hoping to clean up the engine bay a little more but not gonna spend the $$$. Well...

    Explorer serpentine conversion

Thanks to all of y’all for the info and guidance. Will be making a run to my “junkyard/used parts store”. Got to admit that explorer front dress sure looks a lot cleaner. Randy

    Dodge rims back spacing

2.5 or 3.5??? I measured the circumference of the front hub and then figured the diameter from that (Diameter = Circumference divided by Pi…10 11/16 divided by 3.14) and came up with 3.5”. I have been wrong before, and I’m not a math expert, but I have spent the night in a Holiday Inn Express...

    Explorer serpentine conversion

Thanks, Todd. What kind/brand would be needed to for a P/S pump, and will my stock steering gearbox still work? Seems like all I have is questions these days. 😂 Randy

    Explorer serpentine conversion

I’ve got a simple question (cause I’m a simple man) about the explorer ‘front dress’. Will that front dress fit a ‘91 5.0 Mustang engine with an OEM ‘77 power steering pump? Not sure I would want to go to that much work, but curious nonetheless. Randy

SHOW ME YOUR 3" DUAL EXHAUST!

Paul, I’m a little lazy and find that it lets me go between posts without skipping past one. Also our computer is so slow that it takes 20 minutes to load the Forum up. Also the keys are bigger on landscape and that’s a plus with my fat fingers. Lol 😂 Randy

Bronco event: May It Foward May 17/18th 2024

Congrats to the successful event! Hope to make it up there someday as I hear the NE is a beautiful place to visit. As it’s often said in the South, “You done good, Tasker!.” Randy

    Questions on a carb

Pretty easy to rebuild a 2bbl carb. YouTube is a big help. If the carb still has the model number tag on it, that will make it easier to get the correct rebuild kit. Also there’s a lot of members here who are experts on all things carb related. Randy

Well, steve, you’re right and I think I’ll renew my subscription. SOME early Bronco in print is better than NO early Bronco. Randy

What have you done to your Bronco today?

I think the “socially acceptable” term is vertically challenged…at least that’s how I say it to my wife. 😉 Randy

    Bronco driver

Got my Bronco Driver today as well. Since the new models came out in ‘20, seems like more and more of the content is geared to them. I realize the magazine is published to make money, and the new model folks’ numbers are growing…the dang things are everywhere! When my subscription goes out...
