Fuel Tanks - Help Me Pick One!

%) Typical, hindsight is 20/20. Any idea what the price tag will be?!

Fuel Tanks - Help Me Pick One!

Jim told me he had something in the works. I really wanted to go the stainless route, but it was a little pricey for our project.

Fuel Tanks - Help Me Pick One!

I actually got those exact part numbers on my most recent summit order. I also got some tube nuts as well that would require me to flare the tubes, but I might try it. 3/8 SS Tube Nut I got a bunch of stainless PTFE lined hose and some 3/8 NiCopp hard line. Still working out how I'm going to...

Fuel Tanks - Help Me Pick One!

I am using this kit here for the FPR/Fuel Filter and it comes with the adapters I think you're talking about. Also, I found the part numbers on Summit and got some more to do some other parts for my fuel system...

Fuel Tanks - Help Me Pick One!

if you look at the third picture that is the "fuel pump hanger" that's what the in tank pump mounts to and it's pre-wired for power to the pump.

Fuel Tanks - Help Me Pick One!

hahaha, I see what you mean. Here are a few shots of the tank. For the record, Jake at Aero Tanks is very helpful and super responsive. I'm not overly impressed by the pump pickup and after some research I probably would have gone with something with threaded fittings. However, he sent me...

    Dana 20/Transfer Case Options

It has worn down 33's on it now so I'll get to see what those are like first, but 35's are the plan. What does everyone suggest for that size tire? I was pretty confident on the 4.10's but now ya'll have me second guessing a $6,000 purchase :o

    Dana 20/Transfer Case Options

Well it wouldn't be the first time I redid something on this project. What are your suggestions? actually I think the raptor has a 4.10 gear which is why I went with that.

    Dana 20/Transfer Case Options

Trust me I would love to go the Atlas or NP route, but it's just not in the budget for this one. needabronco after talking to a few people and getting suggestions I went with the 4.11's with the 6R80. Apparently raptors come with 4.56 gears and the 6R80. Also, I would love to rebuild it myself...

    Dana 20/Transfer Case Options

Gotcha. I'm talking to TBP and they will set up the rebuilt unit for the twin stick out of the box. Now I just need to figure out which twin stick set up will require the least amount of modification to mount to the side of the 6R80.

    Dana 20/Transfer Case Options

I guess I need to decide if I should go with the J or T style as well. The J has a 2.34 ratio and the T is a 2.46 ratio. Which would be better for a street application with the 6R80 6 speed and 4.11 gears? I'm most likely going to go twin stick so the pattern doesn't really matter. Anybody...

    Dana 20/Transfer Case Options

It's mainly for street use, it's not gonna see much offroad use unfortunately. Not my decision btw! We're going to run 33-35" tires so I think a stock rebuild should be sufficient. TBP and Bronco Graveyard are similar in price, but TBP is in Oregon so shipping will get a bit pricey. I already...

    Dana 20/Transfer Case Options

So I have my coyote power train in. Fuel tank "semi mounted" and fuel parts on order from Summit. It's a 2013 5.0 with a 6R80. I have a couple days left before Stephen deploys. He's the one paying for everything so I need to get the rest of the big items on order to. Next up, the Transfer case...

Here are a couple shots after stripping off all of the wiring and Tumblin's drive belt system. Big thanks to Van for installing the new timing cover before delivering the powertrain.

    Yet Another Coyote Build Thread

Turns out with Tumblin's kit you're supposed to completely move the left gusset to the front of the cross member in order to clear the oil filter. I guess I'll be running a relocation kit. Anyone know if this one will work? Derale Oil Filter Relocation

2" if I have to. I'm going to try and get away with a 1" since I'm literally building the body around it ;D
