    headlight splash shield

Popped right in no problem. Had to drill some holes on driver's side. Looks like was in a small fender bender there before.

Best Stereo location for Radio Delete

Doing 2 roll cage mount + subwoofer combo. Thanks to sponsor CrawlTunes.com for helping me pick out what I needed (owner is Derek).

Analysis of Early Bronco Vendors with Survey

Thank you for responding. That is interesting. I didn't permit multiple responses to survey or allow more than one choice to see the #1 reason, and for most, it is quality of product. I will say anecdotally that staff knowledge of early bronco + quality of product seems to dominate the private...

    battery position?

+1 for side post. All the way. I can stack tools on the battery and not get shocked HAHAHA.

    Projects- u15- 1971

Sounds like a fun project. Building one for my wife, too. It is currently her daily driver.

    Disc brake conversion

I think is the conversion that someone did on mine. Was under $300. There's a posting somewhere on here with that information - search for it. Might be under tech articles. Good luck! Next project: Booster for manual disk/drum brakes.

Roll bar clamp for cell phone on A hoop above dash crosstube

I like the crawl tunes setup, but would love to see a video of it or similar in action. I don't understand if the phone is always connected to something that then clamps onto the mount, or if the phone is 'clamped' into something that is mounted on the roll bar. Confused.

Easy Drum to Disc Conversion Question

measure twice, cut once. If I had known what I wanted to do with my bronco before I started I would have saved thousands. I rebuilt my dana 30 instead of doing a dana 44 swap, and I regeared it once, and I added disk brakes to it as well. Learn from my mistake, save money, and do it all at once...

    170 Upgrade Opportunity

I've got a few 200 heads that are good, and a bottom end that needs rebuild. The bottom end I'll give away - includes block, crank, rods, pistons - but the heads are hard to come by when you need them. Ask any machine shop. I have a 200 inline 6 and rebuilding it was not so cheap.

Long travel arms on 2.5" lift?

Would love to see your pictures after you turn it into a more 'street' vehicle with the sway bars and such. I just want to ride in someones before I put thousands more into mine. Too stiff on the road with the springs we have (ranchero or superlift - unsure), but even with just one shock up...

    carb question

I am running 2 barrel on stock cast intake, but looking to upgrade to edlebrock intake and carb, so if anyone wants to swap + cash or whatever, send me a private message. Otherwise, I'll put the parts in the classifieds forum when I buy the parts new. 289/302 is what I have FYI.

Starting issue and what part is this??

Maybe it was part of a security / anti-theft system. There may be a switch or something connected to the relay in addition to the key for the 'start' wire. My suggestion is to bypass it and make it as stock-like as possible.

Help me shut my driver door please

I thought you only needed to shim on the door side. You're suggesting body sagging. Mine needs to be slammed to get the 'two clicks' on the door latch. One click is easy - just shut the door gently - but the door will rattle.

+1 for bypass the heater core by taking one of the existing hoses and routing it back into the engine.

    heater/defrost fan motor not working

I read this thread quickly: Have you checked voltage at the blower motor? Have you checked ground at the blower motor? Check voltage at off, high, and low. It could be switch, resistor, or motor. The resistor lowers voltage from 12v to maybe 7v I don't remember for low speed. You can remove the...

    Headlight Advice

People who spends hundreds of dollars for the most expensive LED lights love them. They are dropping in price rapidly over the past 12 months. The H4 conversion and hallogens run a lot more amps, so get a bigger alt for those. I have some cheapy LED for now - TBP I think - and will upgrade to...

Analysis of Early Bronco Vendors with Survey

I agree with what you are saying wholeheartedly. Unfortunately, not everyone thinks that way. Even a $600 dollar BBQ may have high quality stainless outside, or even coated grill grates and premium hoses, casters, and handles, but something like the burner tube will be made overseas. You may...
