    2004 GM LS 6.0 Hydroboost

Not the desirable year. Angled bracket on the booster isn’t useable, angled master cylinder reservoirs. Brake lines will probably need to be custom regardless and I use the stock bronco proportion valve. I’d pass. 90-95 Astro has the flat bracket Hydroboost 101 link here...

    2004 GM LS 6.0 Hydroboost

You may want to double check that master cylinder. 99-04 GM trucks were disc/disc and not disc/drum. After 05 many trucks went back to drums in the rear, but again there are a lot of variations. I have seen quite a few of them in the yards on the XL, Denali and 2500 trucks. I’m curious if the...

Xterra gear box hitting the frame

I recall using the left and lower right factory holes, and then elongating the upper right hole in the frame about a 1/4 inch. I didn’t modify the box or the frame rail outside of elongating the hole. Is it snug, sure is... touching, don’t think so. Will try to post pictures this weekend for you.

    2019 Super Celebration photo thread

How about a quick video of the first ride of the event. My Bronco had to stay home, but going was a great motivation and better than working. Let’s see if I can get this shared. Beautiful day in Townsend. https://photos.app.goo.gl/EuCQZeMuwc4BR7v38

Early Bronco Nissan Xterra Power Steering gear conversion part 1

Neither...... I’m using a Saginaw PS pump. AN6 adapter on Saginaw pump, to a pre made high pressure hose to the Sweet adapter on the box. Took me a while to find pre made high pressure AN6 hoses but speedway now carries them. Here’s one for 38 bucks...

Early Bronco Nissan Xterra Power Steering gear conversion part 1

I stopped by AutoZone on my way to the yard and got the largest Pittman arm puller they had via the "loan-a-tool" program and dropped it back off after leaving the yard. Used the crank and tap method described above. The right tool makes all the difference in the world. Sent from my SM-G920V...

Power Steering Help - Hose, Bracket, & Hardware

01 to 04 Xterra box? I spent quite a while trying to find an “off the shelf” power steering hose with no luck. Went the AN route, which made installing hydroboost after the fact easy. I used a 14mm-1.5 inverted flare to 6AN steel fitting for the pressure side of the Xterra/Delphi box which was...

Early Bronco Nissan Xterra Power Steering gear conversion part 1

I too have done the Xterra box with the Cherokee sector shaft swap using my existing Bronco dropped pitman arm. Used a 14mm-1.5 inverted flare to 6AN steel fitting for the pressure side to connect to a Saginaw pump which was tough to find. Got mine from Sweet Performance on eBay 9 bucks...
