    Pulsating Lights.......Again

I'll check that as well. I can see how it could cause some issues due to its location.

    Pulsating Lights.......Again

No, they do not go from low beam to high beam. All of the lights (headlights, dash lights, brake lights, etc) dim and then brighten for about 10 seconds after hitting a bump. I'll start checking some ground wires tonight.

    Pulsating Lights.......Again

Last year I had an issue with all my lights pulsating once the engine rpm got to 900 rpm and above. Checked the fuses, wires, and grounds and everything looked pretty good. Ended up buying a new voltage regulator from either Wildhorses or Tom's and it fixed the issue. Turns out the old Napa...

    Power Steering Box Leak

I can pull the pitman arm no problem. I have a pitman arm puller.......somewhere in the garage. Anyone else have that problem before where it takes a few days for a leak to surface? I would expect to see a leak shortly after driving it or maybe the following morning. But these leaks...

    Power Steering Box Leak

Thought I finally got all the leaks fixed in the Bronco but walked into the garage this morning and noticed fluid under the front axle (both axle seals (Dana 30)) and a spot up front which was dripping off the pitman arm. Traced the leak from the pitman arm up to the top of the power steering...

    Stock and 2.5 Lift pictures

I just replaced an old 3" lift kit with a new 2.5" lift kit from Tom's this winter. Added the Bilstein shocks as well and am pretty happy with it. Handles pretty nice for a 47 year old vehicle now. Also just got new BFG AT2's for it in 30x9.5x15. Cruises down the road real nice at 65 mph and...

    Leaking Transfer Case

It's a 3 speed manual. After I fixed the initial leaks, I added new fluid to the t-case (Valvoline 50w Racing Oil). The oil on the floor now appears to be that new oil but maybe this weekend I'll do a little checking. Where is the fill plug on the 3 speed manual and what oil does the...

    Leaking Transfer Case

I have a 66 mustang too and they both sit in the same garage. Buddy of mine came over one day while both cars were parked outside. He took one look at the garage floor and said "Well, I know where the Bronco gets parked". Haha

    Leaking Transfer Case

Transfer Case has leaked since the day I bought it. Initially, it was leaking from the fill plug and two of the lower bolts that hold the lower cover plate on. Took the fill plug out along with all the cover plate bolts, sealed the threads, put a new gasket on and they're not leaking anymore...

    Door Latches?

I've been tackling issues one by one all winter long on our 1970. Finally to the door latch issue I have had since we bought it. The doors are usually pretty tough to close often taking a few fairly hard slams to get them to shut. They always catch the latch and stay 1/2 shut but need opened...

    Thermostat housing won't stop leaking

I had the same problem. I finally spent $13 or so and bought a new housing with the o ring gasket. Think it was a Spectre housing from Pepboys. That fixed it. First time I put the new paper Felpro gasket in, it leaked like the gasket wasn't even there. I would imagine that rtv would work...

    Smittybilt Stereo Console

Has anyone chopped off the front cup holders on one of these consoles? I have been thinking about getting one but it sits a tad to far back for my taste. I sat in a Bronco last summer that had this console. Liked everything about it for $100 but it just didn't fit right for my taste. Needed...

CJ Pony Parts Bronco Parts Free Shipping

I live about an hour away from CJ and have bought quite a few Mustang parts from them. But I tend to buy Bronco parts from either Toms or Wildhorse. CJ tends to have a somewhat limited supply of Bronco parts and I've thought about ordering a few things from them over the past year only to find...

Help removing ignition switch without the key

Thanks guys. I almost started drilling it last night but thought I would ask on here first if there was another way to go about it.

Help removing ignition switch without the key

I bought a nice used dash recently and the ignition switch was still in the dash. I need to get the thing out so i can strip the dash and paint it. I know how to remove the ignition switch when you have the key but any tricks to removing it when you don't have the key? Thanks.

    insane bronco prices

That is 100% correct. Initially, I thought I would have time to make a decision or travel but in the end, I had to trust my gut, have cash ready, and be able to leave in a very short amount of time. In the end, I traveled 600 miles to get what I wanted. A nice driver with good paint, nice...

    Sleeve removal from shackle

I used a sawzall on one and then used a flat head screwdriver to pry out the bushing. Took longer than I expected but it came out. On the second one, I had an old pick that still had a nice thin point on it. I was able to hammer the point between the shackle and the old bushing and it pried...

    Trac bar problem...Help

I've had this happen on mine as well as a few old Mustangs. Blast it with PB and let sit for awhile. But one too many times a cut off wheel and a saw blade become your best friend in these situations.

    Carb Spacer ID

Thanks guys. I placed an order with Jegs yesterday for my intake gaskets and some odds and ends. I did order a 1/2" phenolic spacer so I think at this point I'll put the heat shield back on and the spacer on top of that. Seems like I'll have enough clearance to go that route. I had never...
