I'll go back and dig through the sniper documentation but don't think it mentioned anything on this. I did search their forums. Someone else asked the same question and the recommendation was to vent that oil cap to the inside of the air filter.

I'm installing new glass, window track and the track to glass strips but I never had any windows previously to go off of. Do I install these window tracks in the center of the window? It appears to be really tight with the strips, any tricks here? Perhaps some soapy water to help? Thanks

Hey Greg, not really. I wish I would have just invested in the 4R70W, the TV cable has been a headache. I fabricated up a bracket but had problems with it hitting the valve cover so scrapped it. That Sniper throttle lever made the pedal so tight I added one of these brackets which helped...

If this was the case, would the oil fouled spark plugs only show up in the cylinder that had a bad oil control ring? Does the fact that there is oil on all the spark plugs to some degree imply that maybe its coming down through intake gasket?

That baffle does have two screws holding it down and seems really solid. Not sure about the 3 screws, perhaps thats just part of the molding.

Just finished the compression test 1 - 150 2 - 150 3- 148 4 - 148 5 - 149 6 - 140 7 - 138 8 - 139 I don’t have equipment for leak down test right now but since these seem to be in range does it exclude the ring seals and valve seals? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I used the Joe Gibbs BR oil for break in. I’m doing compression test right now and 1-5 are all showing 148-150 PSI. Had to take daughter to swim so will have to finish up tonight and report back. Thanks for all the help everyone. Btw, not sure on brand of the intake manifold gasket...

They all had some oil on the threads when I removed them and it looks like its flowing towards the ends on those while sitting. The electrode and ceramic were dry when I pulled them.

How can I verify the correct pressure on the PCV? I have the part number I can grab but is there a way to size the PCV to the 347? This was a 1996 explorer block that I had an engine builder build into a 347. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yep, they are GT40 heads that were rebuilt. I ran it for 10 minutes in the garage while I had the mechanical oil gauge hooked up and it did smoke the entire time. I’ll get it out and drive it and keep a closer eye on the exhaust smoke. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’d guess i probably put 150-200 miles and had to add a quart. This was after I found out it was really low and did a full oil change and filled it up. Good call on the oil pressure sensor. Just hooked up a mechanical gauge and getting 55 psi at cold and dropped to 49 at temp. I believe I’m...
