    help please

Even if it looks the same, make sure the hose bolt threads are the same. That was the problem I had with a newer Tom's kit i ordered.

    Carpet Install

Same idea, but I used a blowtorch and an old small Phillips head driver. Makes making holes in carpet a cinch.

    Lets see some green.....

Thanks, it wasn't to bad since I did all the work myself. The materials were probably around $1,000. The color came from TCP Global $350, Clear and 2k Primer Sealer from SPI about $600.

Another part source in so cal

I dont know when they started carrying Bronco parts, but I purchased several replacement panels from them over a year ago. I found their prices slightly higher that current vendors, and with the CA tax it was still cheaper to order out of state. For bulky, high shipping costs items they were a...

Metal repair in a Hard Top

Just use silver solder. I had a bunch of small screw holes that I soldered up inside the tub. easy to metal finish and you don't need to get the metal that hot. Trick my old body shop teacher taught us.

    california emissions

AAA is a piece of cake for registering out of state vehicles. You just have to have the VIN in two locations. They used the driver door tag and the one in the glove box. Also, the odometer needs to read over 7500 miles of you will have to other issues to deal with. This shouldn't be a concern...

Explorer Serp power steering hose pics please

I don't know if this helps, but I ran the hose to the front over the pulley. With the 90 adapter that my shop used i have about 3/4" clearance between the belt and hose. It actually works quite well.

Disk brakes still pull to the right!!

Did you buy a kit or piece it together yourself? I purchased my kit from Toms and the front calipers came "Loaded." it was pulling very hard to the left and I looked over everything and nothing was out of place. Then for some reason I looked at the pads and realized there were two different pad...

CA BFG Tires and Late Bronco Wheels

I have 4 wheels and tires off my 77 Bronco. Tires are 29" BFGs. They are older, but are like new and have almost no miles on them since the vehicle was in storage most of its life. Wheels are off a late model Bronco i think.

3.5'' suspension kit Bilstein or Rancho?

I did their 2.5" lift with the Bilsteins and couldn't be happier. The Bronco rides great both on and off road for such a short wheel base. If you do a search on the two you will find that a majority of the members here do not like Rancho shocks.
