What to do with my Aug. '65 built Bronco?

Do I need to send a picture to someplace to get a url? I thought there was a way to put one on here direct from my files. You both have good points. I would however like to drive it about two hundred miles a year. And sometimes that's on dirt back roads. As it is, I wash out any dust afterwards...

What to do with my Aug. '65 built Bronco?

I already know I'd be a fool to alter it, although I want a modded out one, I'll do that on a different project. It needs paint. It was light blue with white 1/2 cab, steel wheels with no caps. What is off: oak dash, no radio, aluminum rims, wrong front bumper, sun roof, a little rust on the...

    Ladys modeling Broncos

Hank, that's the problem in a nutshell with a Bronco, they are a little too small for a heavy big block up front. Owen

Let's see some stock and original Broncos!

I love your Broncos. Maybe someday My Bronco is supposed to be light blue, but other than that and the wood dash she's a virgin. Owen

I think this was an after market kit. I didn't do it.

insurance for an all original '66

No it's not the $300 bronco, that one is rusty, stuck motor, no tailgate and not a Budd body although it was made in Dec. '65. I paid $3,500, but I can't believe I'd ever get a buy like that again.

insurance for an all original '66

I want to start driving my Bronco, but I need insurance. My insurance agent said I needed an appraisal, so I took it to a local body shop. He took pictures and then said he's not well informed on Broncos, what do I think it's worth? I said because it has never had a dent or rust, and because it...

Amazed at how much attention these trucks get.

Hi guys, been away all winter. I have to respond to this post. I too am amazed how much attention our Broncos get. I actually had people come into my shop where I work in back as a small engine mechanic. The guys out front come and get me to talk to people asking about it. One time last year a...

I have an August build , but it's in the 8,000's Thanks for all the information guys. You're great! Mine is a practically rust , dent free, 1/2 cab with the right grill and tailgate. I believe it has never been repaired. U14FL738593. It was totally repainted over thirty years ago from light...

Earliest Broncos known to exist (1-30)!!

Thanks for the good read boys....... I have U14FL738593 in great shape from WY. Very little rust , no dents and all the right stuff. It should be light blue. It still has the silver bench seat, but it's covered., good thing. I have a good 1/2 cab, but have enjoyed our convertible rides this...

Does my first month of '66 Bronco have more value?

I shouldn't even ask because, I don't want to put any price tag on something that I won't sell. According to the info. you guys gave me my '66 1/2 cab was made in Aug. '65. It has all the right stuff and almost no rust and no dings. I'm sure it never has had. Also someone here said some of the...

    U14? U15? '66?

I'm seeing a later build '66 is different than the early build. As per the above vin numbers, my Aug. '65 build has the eye brow grill and the Jan. build does not. I'm quite sure it's original. Does anyone know when the actual change happened? Also is the oil bath air filter over flow and...

    U14? U15? '66?

Looking at that Vin code chart, isn't the newer one a Jan '66 build? That one doesn't have an eye brow grill. Thanks for your help. So here's what I see. the August built U14 was the 6,593 rd. Bronco built. The Jan built one was the 50th in '66. Owen

    U14? U15? '66?

Thanks, my earlier one seems like a virgin. There's a little rust on the right inside by my left ankle, but it's covered up with a wood kit of some sort. There must have been a wood accent kit sold in the early days. Oak dash etc. Oh by the way, what's the story when it has no dash pad?

    U14? U15? '66?

I'm sorry , but I've done some searching and still don't get it all. Maybe you can fill me in on what I have. I have two '66 truck Broncos. One is U14FL802050 the other is U14 FL738593. the first one is rusty and the second one is great. Any info would be fantastic!
