The links are dead, any idea where to get something like this nowadays? Same problem ove here, the centech grommets are useless.

    Dash bezel for def/temp

Mine weren't working at all, so I got a dremel tool and cut them in half. I removed all of the guts and had LEDS wired up for the back light. I silkscreened all of the text on some .013 thick plastic so the light can shine through. They came out great. Do you need the light bar itself, or...

Body alignment after body lift is off by 3/4 inch.

Okay, so here is the update after 7 hours of fun. I ended up taking off all of the body mounts and cutting down the sleeves about 1/8 inch so I could have a bit more wiggle room as far as smashing down the pucks. I didn't shave any of the mounts themselves yet, but I did shim the rear mounts...

Body alignment after body lift is off by 3/4 inch.

I thought this would be one of the smooth parts of reconstruction, but I should know better by now. I did a frame off restoration and had the complete tub on a rotisserie to do the work. After the frame and tub were ready to meet again, I put them on with a 2.5 suspension lift and a 1 inch...

My front fenders have stress cracks after remounting, suggestions?

Hello All, I am finally putting body parts back on, and have found that both of my front fenders have stress cracks in the exact same places on both sides. The cracks are on the flat front edges of the fenders where they will meet with the grill. Any thoughts on how to avoid this? It is...

    SEATS mastercraft baja rs

KHolding, I bought Corbeaus and am going to be putting them into the tub soon. I am curious as to how you lifted the actual front seat mounting brackets off of the floor, or if that was an issue for you. Mine seem to be flat on the floor which won't allow for the sliding mechanism to work...

    Recommended tool for restore?

Rotisserie is key, sounds like you have a good start for everything else. I am right in the middle of a frame-off and am amazed at how many parts start to collect. Make sure you have plenty of boxes or bags to put parts in. Whenever I took something apart, I put it into one bag or box and...

    SOLD corbeau baja sport seats

Hey Stallion, Any chance you can take a look and let me know how these are mounted to the body? I have the mounts that came from Corbeau and am curious as to how they space out the body from the bottom of the seat mount. Thanks, and good luck with the sell.... Pestanza

    Corbeau Seats

I have two new seats and the brackets to go with them. I am curious as to how anyone has mounted these to the body. It seems like the drivers side holes mount up fine, but the passenger seat holes don't mount up to any holes. My main question is some sort of a spacer between the body and the...

    Dana 20 J-shift rebuild question

So while rebuilding my j shift, I realized that I forgot to put in the pill during the reassembly. Does this matter? I don't really want to take it out and apart again if I don't have to! Pestanza

    Dumb Twin Stick Question

I just got done buttoning up a transfer case and had extra parts. The pill that locks the two shifting rods together was left out. We are ready to mount the t-case back up to the transmission and don't want to do additional work if this is a problem. Basically, the left and right stick seem...

    Alpha Bronco Props!!

I wanted to say a big thank you to Adam at Alpha Bronco for his great t-shirts and equally impressive customer service! There was a slight mix-up in shipping for 2 t-shirts (my fault), and Adam sent 2 additional shirts for me until we got the details worked out. Not only do I love my "grillin"...

    Finally Dash Complete!

So do tell! How did you cut straight lines? I am assuming you meant lines straight enough to just make the center cut, switch the two and start tack welding? I would probably use a grinder and do my best, not sure if that would work. What was the method to your madness?
