I'd have to double check, but I'm pretty sure it was off by more than that. It did have a repair done at the factory, so that might be why.
I know it was factory because the only primer/paint on it was red oxide primer and white paint, no other paint or primer on it anywhere.

I have a 74 ranger that has 2 VIN #'s stamped on it, the one with stars on each end and another one that matches the data plate and door jamb sticker. Both VIN's are stamped in both locations on the passenger side frame rail. And it was all original before I started stripping it down.

I have a set of those scout knuckles that I got from Quinn years ago, never used them and they are reamed for tierod over as well. If anyone is interested.

So yesterday I was trying to determine if my alternator or regulator was bad (Large case G1 alternator with electronic regulator), so I unplugged the field wire from the alternator while it was running to see if there was a change in voltage at the battery.
There wasn't, still showing only 12...
When you say "restored", what exactly are you looking to have done? Are you looking for a as close to original as possible, a restomod, something you plan to drive daily, a show bronco, etc.
Where in Washington are located?

If you're talking about that raised "bung" right around the body mount hole, that's factory and it's a support for the floor pan so that it can be tightened down without ripping through the floor plan.
