    No longer a Bronco Owner

Thanks guys and I will definitely miss it, but I also miss a bunch of other projects I've had along the way. My wife told me today that I should have keep a journal for each of them. It would have been a good read for someone. I would like to hang out with you guys again and I'll watch for...

    No longer a Bronco Owner

I was sad to her go but my work was done. I had four fun years of building a pretty damn nice Bronco, but I had lost interest and will be moving on my next project. I don't know what that will be but something with four wheels will take its place. Thanks to viperwolf, starky, fordefi and...

My name is Joe and i am a dumb ^ss

I had two spark plug wires mixed up on my first EFI motor. It ran, but had a strange miss. I did not figure it out for several days. The Ford racing plugs are numbered. I'm looking things over one day and had an "Oh Sheet" moment. Doh!

    Alternate battery location (underneath?)

I have mine in the back behind the rear seat. I mounted it in a battery box. I needed the battery space for the cold air intake.

    advantage of using electric fan?

During idle the electric fan runs at much higher rpm than a mechanical fan. An electric fan has no engine drag and can keep running after you shut the engine down. My rig runs at least 20 degrees cooler with the electric fan. You will definitely notice the difference in stop and go...

    Radiator "who has the best"????

I have had good luck with my champion radiator. A lot cheaper than the bigger brand names.

    A true daily driver

My wife has a Lexus RX400h. It gets 25 mpg in town and a little better on the highway. I don't think the hybrids are worth the extra money with so many cars out there that get just as good mileage without being hybrid. As for modifying a bronco to be a good DD, not worth the money in my book...

    Vintage License plate

Here's mine. Front plate still has the 1974 sticker. This is my legal plate. The rear sticker says something like "Special Vehicle". I had a cop pull me over one time and never said anything about the sticker, he said he was building a Bronco and wanted to see mine up close.

    Another EFI purchase question

I agree with the RJM harness because you know you're getting a good harness and it will be one less item to troubleshoot later. The RJM harness is built specifically for the Bronco conversion. If you can afford it you won't regret it. I am not a big fan of the GT40 heads but they are better...

    Raptors EFI problems part Duece

It has to be a combination of issues because the timing sweet spot is not that small. The computer can compensate for bad timing, to a point.

NC NEED input on this bronco its my first buy

Very nice looking Bronco. It is pretty easy to put that much money in a Bronco. I would want to drive it first just make sure it goes straight down the road. Bronco could look like new and drive like a combine. If it drives as nice as it looks and you can afford then get after it.
