Tintable Raptor Liner - mixed thoughts

I think it looks fine being a shade off, but i sprayed my entire tub with tintable raptor and have shot rattle can paint directly on top of it and it sticks to it fine. So you can spray right on top of it with your paint choice if you want it to match exactly. I tried the rattle can on the...

Little Help Needed - Radiator and electric fan

I agree 100%. I've never had an aftermarket fan work well. All the companies just want to advertise great # but nothing works like a factory fan clutch set up or a factory electric fan. Everyone selling 3-4 core thicker radiaors is not as good as a 2 core factory radiator period. How is it a...

    Front Hood Crown or Straight?

I have a fiberglass hood and it's pretty straight. I bought a new steel hood for another bronco and it has a slight crown to it but i think it is just crappy quality. It should be straight.

Dana 44 high pinion narrow and install

You have shared some good knowledge on setting up his axle. I learned a good amount reading your post, and the story at the end sounds like me😆 Lets hope he gets the job done

    Full suspension upgrade

I would bet the duff 4 link would be great. I have the 5.5 monster kit with leafs and it rode nice in my opinion. Front was cush, rear a tad stiff but worked great. I converted to 4 link but haven't driven it yet. You dont need King coilover King bypass or Fox coilovers to have a nice ride. Nice...

    Hydra-boost and wrap trap install

Nice work, is that crossmember for the wrap trap bolted or welded on? Looks like it will work nice. On my duff wrap trap it bent the mounting brackets on the rear end pretty good. Looks like now they have different axle mounts. Keep us posted on how yours works after a drive.

Painless Harness - No Break Lights and Weird Turn Signal Challenges

When you turn something on like a blinker, hazard, or a different switch and something else happens that's a bad ground or something is shorting out. Like a hot wire is touching something. You shouldn't mix a painless harness with the 50yr old wiring. I installed a painless harness and only used...

    Will I ever finish?

It would be nice but 35k is a lot of money, then i would fall into the same thing as with the bronco, upgrade the motor because 200hp would be ok until you get bored, bigger tires, stereo, shocks it never ends. A new pro r would be fun but I'd have to hit the lottery first.

    Pilgrim's Progress

I Ive been looking at this build and you have done some pretty sweet customization on your bronco. Will be nice to drive for sure

    Will I ever finish?

Also any input on exhaust from anybody who has done coyote swap. Go with 2k dollar headers or the nice looking logs from Toms Bronco/ stockish modified mustang 5.0 looking headers from BC Broncos?

    Will I ever finish?

My last time driving was 10 minutes from my house at Hollister Hills. That was 2015 pretty sad it's been sitting 8-9 yrs. Having an old bronco is zero fun when it's sat so long. Comments good or bad are fun to read. I'm just convincing myself 35k for a can am x3 that's ready to go isn't as good...

    Will I ever finish?

After owning this bronco 20yrs and only driving it about 800miles i think I'm realizing my problem of taking stuff apart and never finishing is getting ridiculous. So at 52 I've decided to put a nice motor with power/reliability in and sell off other cars and make the bronco reliable and able to...

    Best liquid paint strippers now?

The best stuff I've used is Jasco paint stripper from Home Depot. It comes in a square 1 gallon metal can and comes out like clear jelly. Apply it on with a brush one swipe only. Let it sit and it then scrape it off like warm butter. Be careful when it touches your skin it burns like muriatic acid

    BAT Craziness

Even if a guy did all that in his home garage it would easily be 70k in parts even with used drivetrain. All the wiring, paint materials, interior, axles, brakes etc add up fast. Then figure how many hours it took if you did everything alone 2-4 yrs doing weekends/off time and that price is fair...

What do you guys think of the rust on this 1978?

Where are you at? Ive got one nicer than both of those in Norcal. I'll send you some pics if you want. It's on a non op but i can get it smogged. 4 inch lift, 33's 400m /c6 combo
