Not strange at all but good paying attention to detail by your engine builder for sure. Any real good builder does this, just because it's new out of the box doesn't mean it's good to go. Sure the heads will work but it's like for the money this crap costs going the extra mile is worth it not...

I have read many threads on the stroker combos and have found it entertaining to say the least. There are so many variables of what works and what doesn't for sure! I'm no guru but my buddy who is a motor guy put a combo together for me that works great, at least I can share some of this info...

Do you pros nail your new kick panels in with even door gaps or do you give the bottom b-pillar door corner a tad bit more gap like a 1/16 for the real weight hanging on it? BTW the whole platform is perfectly level and plum. Any input would be appreciated, thanks Mark

Thanks for the input guys, Migs your truck is exactly what the look is that I am after. Now I will possibly consider the 17's for the little extra diameter. It's funny yesterday I placed a order for the build but scratched the lift kit as I had picked 2.5 now I know it's got to be a 3.5 thanks...
