    New Speedo head grease or oil gears?

    Ordered a new speedo head and noticed the gears are dry. Should I grease these or put some oil on these? I've read to use 3 in one oil?

    Yea I thought about going with one of those kits but was wondering how sensitive those close ratio boxes are on the street? The boxes in those kits are 4:1 lock to lock? The close ratio is 3 1/3 lock to lock? There that much difference?
