    Extended E-brake Lines

Ok. So I have read that 78-79 Bronco brake cables are the way to go for a lifted Bronco. My bronco has 3.5" lift springs with a 1" body lift. The rear axle is a 77 F-150 rear axle. Do you recommend that I use both sides, or two that are the drivers side? Thank you for your help!

SOLD Early Bronco Seats front and rear

These seats came with a project Bronco years ago. They were reupholstered grey and have been sitting for at least 15 years I would guess. Sliders mounts included. They need a little bit of cleanup side plastic covers are cracked etc. Foam feels nice. They are a little stinky from sitting in a...

    Steering Box Suggestions

I am using the TBP steering box. I wasted alot of time messing with other "solutions". They were all things that needed help. However, one trip down the road with my EB and the new box and I was sold. Snow, ice and 4x4, front posi, rear locker and 37's and it drives great. Probably...

    OR Crawler Bronco Project

I know this post is older. But still looking a little harder. I bought a bunch of parts to build one I have in the back, and I think I'd rather start with something else. Preferably in Oregon, with a title. Can be a roller, or a non-roller. Missing parts etc. I am pretty open.

Will I regret not going with 35s?

I had a friend that took so long building his truck that he went through three different sets of wheels and tires and never drove the truck. It was like 30 years. He had a brand new set of Goodyear polyglas GT's with baby moon caps. It was kind kind of sad actually. I agree borrow some.

    1969’s build thread

Thank you for that. I have been using VHT Engine paint for quite awhile and it works. You can touch it up and it looks ok etc. But yours looks a lot nicer and cleaner. I will check that out.

    1969’s build thread

Just curious, but what specific paint did you use on the frame? I would guess it was satin black but is it specifically? It looks pretty good.

    Toms Offroad power steering box

I have installed on an EB with 37" tires. I did everything but the box, just because I was cheap maybe, IDK. It was about 80% ok before. After this box, it was night and day. I lost more time than I ever should have by not driving it. As others have said, easy to install and worked...

Done with my fitech, advise on carburetor.

I am guessing that a properly set up and driven Q jet will surpass the factory 2-barrel for MPG etc. if driven correctly? My next build I am going to run the Q jet.

    Under body paint options?

OK. I like the stuff. I just need to decide. It is not an emergency. I wasn't aware it was that fluid with tough ups so that is good to know. Also, I didn't see the spray paint mentioned on their website that precisely matches. I know Eastwood offers a chassis black with corresponding...

    Under body paint options?

OK TY. I will look into that. I didn't know that was an option. I was thinking Eastwood stuff was my best go....

    Under body paint options?

I have done a body off build on a couple of vehicles including an early Bronco. I think the last one I undercoated. One I used POR. This new build is going to be more of a 4x4 crawler. I would like a paint that I can coat it with, make it look decent, shed grease and so forth. In...

    Question on Petronix 2 upgrade

Ditto on all counts except I didn't do the coil. I carry the old points just in case, but I don't really think I need to.

    Aftermarket Reverse Lights

No tire carrier with a stock bumper. That is the issue, and I would rather not have it look too bad, like an afterthought. If this was an aftermarket bumper or tire carrier this would be easy. But when you look at the length, the area between the bumper end and the tailgate there is...

    Aftermarket Reverse Lights

I like those. The issue though is how they hang under the bumper. There is very little real estate to put them on the top because of the width of the tailgate. One fairly clean way to mount the pod type is to drill right into the corner of the body and put the bolt through. Just not sure I...

    Aftermarket Reverse Lights

I am attempting to make my 70 more daily driver friendly. It is used for mainly sand and snow and other stuff. No rock bashing. I have stock bumpers and am keeping them. Here is my question: What type of add on lights are you using back there for reverse/night lights? I am going to use...
