351W ----> with stock hood. is it possible?

I'm running a 351W, Edelbrock Performer intake, Summit carb, 2.5 inch air filter, stock hood and no BL. It fits but it is very tight. I recently picked up a Ford cast iron 4bbl marine intake that I may swap in to make things a little easier. There's about an 1 1/8" difference in height between...

This took care of the flare that I was experiencing. Wouldn't hesitate to do it again. https://transgo.com/product-details/40-2/

    What is this part?

Yes, that is a charcoal canister. The other end is supposed to be connected to the vapor separator tank that is located in a compartment behind the driver's seat.

    Spark Plug Gap

That's the Ford Duraspark electronic ignition. '74 was the first year for EI in Broncos. Everything I've ever seen says .044" for EB's with Duraspark but it wouldn't hurt to run .035" either.

    Distributor Weight Retainers

That’s why I’ll just weld up whatever slot I have to give however much advance I’m wanting.

    Distributor Weight Retainers

While you're at it I'd flip it around and use the 13L slot instead.8-)

    Hardtop Pulley System

No need for an expensive system really. I lift my to top the same way vertically/horizontally because I only have a 9’ ceiling. Instead of a pulley system I just use four eye lags and a couple of come-alongs. Been doing it that way for years.

    Testing/Adjusting Fuel Sending Unit Arm

I bent the arm on my replacement fuel sender for my aux tank to get better readings when the tank is full. Definitely better now.

2.5 inch lift questions, thank you.

I did not replace drive shafts. I did buy extended brake hoses, adjustable track bar, adjustable drag link and leaf spring shims to correct pinion angle.

    Stock cam suggestions

This is the cam I’m running in my 351W. It’s a very common grind and a good cam for a Bronco. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-k4400

    The Poor Chevy Blazer.....

They should just bring back the Pontiac Aztek and re-badge it as a Blazer.

Which specialty tools for axle rebuilds?

I bought this for measuring the case spread when setting carrier bearing preload on the 9". Worked great. https://www.harborfreight.com/hand-tools/measuring-marking-layout/clamping-dial-indicator-63656.html

    Creaky rear leafs

Ive had this same issue, kept binding and releasing. I sprayed some red grease from an aerosol can in there, definitely helped.

    408 intake manifold

In the Q&A on the Summit page Blue Print says they run the Weiand 8023 on that engine. But I’m guessing that’s with a carb.
