    BAT Craziness

Knowing what I know now, first hand experience, I'd never buy a vehicle off of BaT. People paying that kind of money, sight unseen, have more money than sense. Plus, some of these that have sold on BaT, have any of them actually popped up on here by the buyers or are they being stored away never...

    New bronco at local dealership

A lot of my local non-Ford dealerships are also trying to sell them at 100K. Not sure if they are straw purchasing or offering current owners stupid money to get into say a Subaru or Kia, but there's no way I'd pay 100K on a highly-depreciating vehicle.

    New Bronco Accident

Looks like the Bronco held up well.

Ford wants to soothe your Bronco pain?

I drove a Wrangler 4dr 2L turbo auto earlier this year (July) and a Bronco 2dr just a few days ago. To me, and this is just my opinion, the darn Jeep felt more like old Bronco than the 6G. I love solid axles and a manual transfercase and understand that type of handling that comes with the...

    The train wreck continues..... 8/3/20

It's sad, I saw the picture of all the Broncos sitting...waiting to go to the new homes and so many people here and there disappointed.

Oh boy, not again - 77 Build

This looks really good. I like the classic 5.8 Ford air cleaner cover.

    Good looking Bronco on BAT

I will say this: never buy something you can't see in person. No personal knowledge with this rig, but the way you can use the camera to "make the magic" happen is insane. If the paint is off, then it is off. And, if the paint is off, what else is off or hidden. Certain lighting means it's...

    The train wreck continues..... 8/3/20

JK 2Dr VS 66-77 Bronco Why did Jeep sell 1,387,438 Wranglers from 2007-2018 in the US? Obviously when you take the original Bronco dimensions and capitalize on the best off road size there is known to man, you sell a ton of them. What people cannot get over is brand loyalty...even though...

    Bronco Hut website

Well...if the mothership, that is the Ford motor company, is seriously concerned with Tom's or BH possibly harming the sales on the new Bronco that RC cars have beat to market, then therein lies the problem. See...Ford left the fight. Wrangler never did. Wrangler, in fact, darn near copied the...

Tom's Bronco Parts is now TOMS OFFROAD (We can explain)

Wow, I never knew that about VW, but I certainly could see a strong following for the classic beetles and other air cooled vehicles. "Those who fail to learn from history are condemned to repeat it". SWC

    Motorcraft plugs

Back in the 90's when I was a fleet tech, Motorcraft hands down. In a new Ford, Motorcraft hands down. In our low voltage system on a carb'd engine, Autolites would probably be just fine.

Tom's Bronco Parts is now TOMS OFFROAD (We can explain)

Well; see; right there...what you did...that's good ole fashioned common sense. Common sense does not go around at the Ford Motor Company. They did not shoot themselves in the foot, they cut their wrists. IF I was in charge of PR of Ford...I would have rallied with the Vendors and turned it...

Tom's Bronco Parts is now TOMS OFFROAD (We can explain)

I can tell you what, I don't plan on buying a new Bronco after this... To think you can come back after all these years (unlike Wrangler), offer no support for these classic rigs...your V8 solutions are Coyote or a stupidly designed 7.3 with an erection for a throttle body and then go after...

You keep it up with these modern amenities and the next thing I know you'll be going Coyote.

    BAT Craziness

As I read it, the hours only count if you are a licensed business. Personal hobby hours don't count, because EVERYONE would claim enough hours to pay zero taxes. It baffles the mind...If you bought one at 100K and could only sell it for 50K the government could give a rats tail. If you happen...

"Sticky" Steering / tires wont return to center

Yooper, Worst case scenario if caster checks out and the steering box was built correctly, drop the tie rods from the knuckles and see if one tire is harder to turn side to side than the other.

    BAT Craziness

Well, maybe there's a CPA on the forum, but wouldn't your AGI (adjusted gross income) now also go up by 110K and requiring you to pay darn near 30% of that in taxes? I've had offers on mine up the wazu, but I've often wondered about taxes.

    Crank Pulleys on Bronco 302's...

My '77 has a heavy three grove pulley. I often wondered how much hp I'd free up with a lightweight aluminum crank pulley.
