    Head identification help??

Oreily's, Advanced and Autozone sell remanufactured heads for about $150. Is this a bad idea? Also, how do I know if I have smog on mine or not? Why does that matter on the heads? Thanks again.

    Head identification help??

They do have a BA on them also, but not directly after the D2OE, (if it matters). So, is it safe to assume these are 302 heads from a '71-'74??? Also, is it safe to say that a smaller cc chamber head has more compression than a lrger one? Ex: A 58cc head would have more compression than a 63cc...

    Head identification help??

I have a '75 bronco with a 302 (I think). The guy I bought it from told me it had 351 heads on it, but who knows. I am not sure it even has a '75 motor.%) Anyway, the heads are shot and I was going to get an different set, but need to make sure of what I got and what I SHOULD get. The...

    Gas tank venting??

The fuel pump is new (I know, that doesn't mean anything for sure) and the dying problem is real intermittent. Like today, I drove for 30 minutes straight and it never did it, but I never got over 50 mph. As for the float level, maybe, but this carb (3rd one I have tried) came off of a good...

    Gas tank venting??

Wow, great first post. I am not sure about the sucking in air thing, I will check that along with the lines. I am pretty sure they are rubber, at least where they go into the selector valve. So, are these tanks vented and mine is just clogged? Is a vented cap something alot of people do? If...

    Gas tank venting??

Yesterday, my bronco was parked outside and after the temperature outside started to warm up, fuel started to leak from the cap on my aux. tank. I assume it was pressure from the heat outside that caused this. Are these tanks vented? If so, where? I am also having a problem, every so often...

    '89 302 motor swap questions

I do not want to run my carb. and this is an auto truck. So........ I will need: 1. Car intake to clear the hood. 2. Flywheel and balancer from ?????? to adapt my tranny to the new motor. 3. Will my clutch work with the new flywheel? 4. Is the water pump outlet or the pulley configurations...

    '89 302 motor swap questions

I have a '75 bronco with the stock (I assume) motor with a NP435 swapped in behind it. I have the chance to buy an '89 f150 (2wd) with a 302 (fuel injected?) with 94,000 miles for $200-$300. I would get the whole truck and it still runs, just been wrecked. 1. Is it worth that much? 2. Will it...
