    Dash Mounted Fuel Selector Switch

I have purchased a new electric fuel valve to replace the stock valve located under driver seat. My question is: On the back of the fuel selector switch on the dash there are 6 connection points. Top 3 are tank connections with the middle going to the gauge. Bottom connection points from what I...

    Driver Side Air Vent

So, I was searching around for a good idea to remove my Air Vent on the driver side and cover the hole since I have A/C and don't use it. I have been removing it to work on my cluster. I ran across an old post from "behemoth" titled "Cowl panel replacement" dated 10/27/2006. Looking at post #8 I...

    Electric fuel valve

I am thinking about replacing my manual fuel valve with an electric fuel valve. My question is, that looking at the PDF installation sheet on Wild Horse's it appears to me that when connected, the dash mounted selector switch will draw from the opposite tank than the way the selector switch is...

    Cluster voltage regulator?

Took my ‘76 Bronco on a 200 mile journey last weekend and everything ran so good it was scary. However, I noticed that when I stopped at a traffic light with a quarter of a tank of fuel, my ammeter was bouncing. More like flickering up and down and my fuel gauge would drop below E. Then when I...

    Limited Rear Axle

My 1976 Ranger has the 3.5 Limited Slip Rear Axle. When I turn the vehicle on pavement (seems more to the right) at slow speeds the vehicle vibrates almost like the gears jump a bit. I had a mechanic drive it and he told me that it was the Lockers in the rear end and that was normal. Does this...

    Gauge cluster lights

I have read many threads concerning this can’t find my answer. Here’s my problem. Gauge cluster and dash lights are out. When I check the small fuse I have no power at either side of the fuse. Does power come from my headlight switch to the fuse and then to the cluster lights?

    Rear axle

I am going to replace my rear axle on my 1976 Bronco. I am not sure what the spline count is. Is there a way to tell without pulling the axle? I was thinking that I had a 31 spline but now wondering if it is a 28. Any thoughts?

    Fuel Tank

Yesterday I replaced my Auxiliary Fuel tank. Got everything in and hooked up then went to gas station and filled rear tank first and then filled new Aux. tank. As the pump clicked off the first time I added more fuel and then noticed fuel running out of my main tank with it's fuel cap on. I know...

    Another fuel gauge thread

Well now I want to get my fuel gauge working again. I have been just living without one since I had two tanks.just always kept one full. Back when it worked it began to give screwy readings from both tanks. So I replaced the switch. No change. Then just finally quit. All other gauges work just...

    Starting problems

I have a 1976 ranger with a 351w. I just installed a Vintage gen4 A/C system. Had to make a few alterations to get it in. Everything was running fine until I started having starting problems. I will take it out for a drive and shut it down, then when I go to start it I get nothing. When I turn...

    Fuel Gauge

my fuel gauge when switched to my aux. tank works erratically. Right after fill up goes to 7/8th of a tank. Then after driving a short distance goes back and forth from 1/4 to 3/4. I checked ground. This seems weird. What do you guys think my problem is?

    Guage Cluster Voltage Regulator

I am thinking that my voltage regulator may be bad. Fuel reads FULL, Oil Pressure pegs high, temp is at about 120, and amp meter remains on center at all times. Temp does rise up to 120 as I drive and I have seen oil pressure run at about 45psi. But, not for long.

    Vintage A/C Gen. IV

Sorry about another A/C thread. But, I read about so many problems with either the install or satisfaction after install. Is there anyone out there that just loves theirs? I live in Florida and have insulated my Bronco and want to add A/C. Please tell me that it is worth it and not just going...

    Air Cleaner

O.K. I am new here with my new to me 1976 Bronco 351w. I have the normal offset air cleaner and would like to go to a chrome round. Is there one out there that I can use without cutting hood or adding a body lift?
