Is the 74 OEM tie rod joint taper the same as 1/2 ton GM joints? I bought some adapter bushings that weren't machined deep enough. It would likely be cheaper and easier to find a new adapter bushing than purchase a reamer and deal with the adapters I have.

Just received some new leafs for my Bronco and found one of the keepers loose and out of place. The rivet was knocked out of the hole on the bottom leaf. That hole appears slightly ovaled now too from the UPS hit. Are these normally just a press fit or is it an actual hot rivet?
