Finally got it running and it rides rougher than a cob.
I bought the roller from a PO and he installed new 11 pack rear springs. It has about 2.5" of rake which is a little much for me but the ride is brutal. It is always going to be a half cab with almost no weight in it.
I am going start...
The PO assembled most of the motor and I bought it as a roller.. I "think" it is a 89 5.0 mustang motor with explorer dress.
I did get it to fire up for a minute with just a short water temp sender in the ECT hole because that is all I can get to clear. I can't find a way to get the EGT...

I bought a roller with a reconfigured mustang/explorer harness.
I have tied it into a new Centech harness and tried to fire it up yesterday.
No power to fuel pump or ignition. before I dig to deep, could some kind soul tell me what motor harness I have based on the relays?
Do I have all I need...
I got the throttle cable installed OK but I can't find a kickdown cable that is long enough.
Wildhorses sent me their EFI cable but it is only long enough for a driver side rear facing application.
I need a passenger side front facing.
The standard cable housing is about 42", but I need one at...
Most of the hoses people wanted to give me for the 5.0 reversed radiator were 1.5".
My radiator is 1.75" so I got into the Gates book and found this candidate.
I don't know what it is supposed to fit, but it is pretty darn close for me.

After installing the new power brake bracket, booster, master cylinder things looked a little high to the naked eye.
When I close the hood it touches the MC.
It only needs to drop about a 1/4" to 1/2" to clear.
Anyone else ran into this?
I am thinking of shimming the upper bolts on either the...
True story.
I know a guy,(young) that bought a new Tundra about 5 years ago. While talking to his dad he mentioned that his sons motor was in for rebuilding. I commented that his truck was not that old. He stated that the kid had never changed the oil or added any since it was new.
How many...
Installing new headers and everything is really tight.
Need a thin socket but nothing fits.......

Put a new brake booster on ......

Is nothing sacred?
Apparently I am an old fart that doesn't handle change very well.
I was about ready to buy a new pedal for my power brake conversion when you guys helped me out.
I cut a piece of 1/8" metal to the size that the auto pad would fit .
Needed to trim the old manual brake pedal so the new metal would fit and still be able to have the pad attach.
I even got a...
I bought a partially restored steering column (I think it is a 74 auto),in a deal years ago. The PO had done a great job of cleaning, painting, and sending many new parts for the restoration.
I have assembled most of the column but am stumped on how the lower bearing is retained. Right now it...
I just bought these but they are a little tight for my aluminum radiator.

New turn signal switch for 74-77 with manual transmission..
I got this switch , opened it up, and discovered that I had the wrong one.
It has not been used, just removed from the original packaging.
It will not fit 66-73 or automatic transmission
Get it on ebay...

I am finishing a 74 rolling chassis, (mostly assembled by the PO).
It has a new 2.5" lift but is missing the Pitman arm.
Since I will need to get a new one what are suggestions as to stock vs a drop?
Street only, 33's, aftermarket power steering.
Got most of the 67 Halfcab back from the body shop today.
All I have left is a few body mounts to tighten up%)
Roller is a 74 I purchased from a member here a few years ago....and then got cancer, but we are now back in the saddle.
The 69 Mach One is the look I am going for
