BINGO! I was changing the wrong freaking flasher. The flasher for the blinkers was tucked up where I couldn't see it. Thanks Slowleak and Viperwolf!!!!

Nope. Nothing. But I do get current when the hazards are on. Does that make sense and suggest an issue with the wiring/fuse box? Do the hazard lights use the same flasher? My apologies for my ignorance here.
