I used the BC Broncos Media Console, Pyle Bluetooth Marine amp, and a couple speakers. Power comes from the dome light wiring. I like it because it is all self contained and pulls music from my phone. Not gonna blow the doors off but doesn't sound bad, especially with the speakers right up front!
Congrats! Make sure you use a paint that is made specifically for Lexan. Normal paint won't bond well and will flake off because it won't flex with the body. Ask me how I know! I have use Duplicolor with good results on hard plastic bodies.
Entered my first car show since the resto was completed. About 70 cars present and managed to come home with an award! I did have to educate a few folks who called it a Heep...;)
Figured out the problem...the modulator rod was not installed in the tranny. It was shifting through 1st to 2nd within about 5 feet from a stop. Had to really focus to notice. No wonder it was gutless! Second gear starts are way weak! She drives great now! Thanks for all the input!
The shop that did the restoration of my Bronco has asked if they can display it at the upcoming Utah Auto Expo January 15-18. Any advice regarding how to go about ensuring my Bronco is protected? I will be out of town so the shop will be taking my ride to the show and back for me. I am excited...
