New Body - Prep for Paint

if it were me, id go to a one stop shop. the last thing you want is a body shop blaming the builder of the body, and then the builder pointing the finger back at the body shop. theres alot of work that goes into getting it right, you dont need any surprises along the way

    D44 inner C cut & turn

i have 2.5" of lift and 7 degree c bushings. that netted me 1.6 degrees and 1.8 degrees of caster. if i had the axle out and had a way to do it, id totally cut and turn. maybe someday that will be in the cards for me.

    Pitman Arm Removal

OTC 6497 Pitman Arm Puller, Max. Spread 3 1/4 in this one works. what ive done a few times is loosen the bolts that hold the box to the frame, this will allow it to drop enough for you to get the tool between the pitman arm and the frame . attach the puller, hit it with the impact and you'll...

    Dash Pad Install Question

i took my dash pad off, which as you correctly stated, requires the windshield to be folded down. i have a new one ready to put on, but i put the old one back with only the two knobs on the ends of the dash securing it in place. its totally fine, so to answer your question, the front screws...

    pitman arm puller

this one works https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0014DDIJC/?tag=cbama-20 however i'll give you an idea. loosen up the bolts that hold the box to the frame. it will drop the box just enough to get the puller in between the pitman arm and the frame.

    overdrive gearing question

No near term plans for a rebuild. I have 84k original miles on it and she runs great. Dont need or want any more oomph, I just want to sit behind the wheel and enjoy the ride.
