    Saginaw pump tips and tricks?

Years ago, I added a ram assist to one of my Broncos. I used the pump mods oulined here, and had good luck with that. https://www.westtexasoffroad.com/frequently_asked_questions (go to FAQ #9 and click on the link to the tech article)

    Center Console Question

I made a little "L" shaped piece out of sheet metal and attached it to the seat release mechanism. Now my passenger seat release can be done from behind the seat. Sorry, not the best pic...

You Ever Wish You Were Lower?

My actual caster numbers came in at something like 7 degrees.. My pinion angle is about as much as one would want to deal with. A cut & turn would be a better solution, but since my bronco is mainly a pavement pounder, the pinion angle doesn't worry me. The ~7 degrees of caster makes it drive...

You Ever Wish You Were Lower?

On my 69, I run a 3.5" Wild Horses suspension lift, a 2" body lift, and 35's. I run duff's t-rex arms, 7 degree bushings, and a hellwig anti sway bar. I run the thing down the freeway at 70-80 no problem. No, I don't think I would want to go lower (or higher). I like it right where it's at...

Brake Problem - What Am I Missing??

Just spitballing here... but have you checked the adjustment on the rear brake shoes? If they are too far in, your peddle will go to the floor regardless of how well bled the system is. Just a thought...

Thanks for a job well done in a world where customer service sucks

They run a good operation for sure. Jim has called me before to let me know that some of my parts were back ordered, how long they'd take to get, and to ensure that I still wanted to keep the parts on order. I greatly appreciated that (and the parts didn't take that long to come in anyhow). Good...

    New Fuel Tank Design

That's good to hear Tom. I'd be first in line but SCE is ~1800 miles away. Can a guy get one shipped? Please shoot me a PM if that's possible and we'll work out payment. My fuel system needs some help... Thanks.

    Traction-Lok Front Axle Experiences?

My experience is that a fresh TracLok works ok. Larger tires, and/or worn clutches makes them not so ok... I installed a Detroit TruTrac in the rear of my 69. As others have mentioned, it's constructed in a completely different manner and it flat out works! For a limited slip style...

    New Fuel Tank Design

It looks like the last comment from O.P. was nearly 5 months ago. There's no mention of this tank on Duff's website. I can only assume that this product is (unfortunately) dead.

New auto and Atlas for my build, opinions?

The overdrive ratio in the 4R70W is 0.70:1 The higest of the two overdrives in the 6R80 is 0.69:1 So, essentially the same either way in top gear.

New auto and Atlas for my build, opinions?

In your case, you'd need a trans controller. https://www.usshift.com/usq6.shtml You'll need a way to connect the cooler lines. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/pma-pa68505 A trans cooler. I used this and mounted it under my passenger seat area. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/der-13870...

New auto and Atlas for my build, opinions?

I have a 6R80 / atlas 2 combo in my 69. It's an awesome combination. My atlas is 3:1. If I were doing more rock crawling, I would've gone with a lower gearset. It's a VERY versatile way to go I.M.O. My atlas 2 shifts significantly better than my D20. I also personally think that the 6R80 is...

    Where to source a 6r80

ebay motors. It was delivered via truck with gate service. Driver used his pallet jack to drop it right in my garage. Trans works perfectly.
