    IN 1966 Ranch Wagon project

I bought this a few years back with intentions of restoring. It was disassembled when I got it as a restoration in progress. It’s mostly complete with many hard to find 66 only items. The only thing I know for sure is missing is the bench seat. The hinge covers are there and maybe some other...

    SOLD 1966 Bronco

I guess we could always throw them on the book of face, but I don’t want to deal with all the scams and whiny no it alls! 😂

    SOLD 1966 Bronco

Hey Jeff i don’t know if you remember me but I was talking to you about those doors years ago. We got our broncos around the same time. I just saw your post for this and just so happens that I just decided to sell mine as well. I thought your number sounded familiar so I checked my contacts and...

The Good, the bad and the ugly

Now, to dig mine out and figure out where I left off months ago! This was gonna be hers, but momma said different. I guess that means it’s mine again! 😂

The Good, the bad and the ugly

Made the first official skakedown cruise! Went to get wiper blades, also ended up with a new battery and transmission fluid. Had to order new transmission lines when we got home. It actually drove pretty well! She’s gonna need a good job to keep that tank full though!

The Good, the bad and the ugly

Well got one corner done. Also found out that a tetanus shot is required on newer Broncos just like my old ones! Got a nice knuckle filet from a rusty dust shield turned into a serrated knife! If you have surface rust on parts, which I know you do, I used Corroseal. This stuff works amazing...

That was more of a “Why are you taking my picture dad?” look! 😂

The Good, the bad and the ugly

The ugly part of this Bronco keeps on coming. But it’s all getting replaced. Got the fuel line fixed and the truck runs great. I was under it looking at the rear spring hangers, trying to plan my attack, when I saw the rear brake line was close to rubbing a bolt on the frame. I decided to bend...

The Good, the bad and the ugly

I’ve been scoping out ideas on how to do this. If I can’t find someone with one laying around I will try it.

The Good, the bad and the ugly

Lines have been replaced a few years ago, but I intend to go over everything just to make sure. Looks like it has a leaky wheel cylinder in the back. Oh and I know it needs a parking brake cable, because I broke it shortly after handing over the cash!

The Good, the bad and the ugly

Yeah it’s got good bones. I’m surprised at how well the body made it and the interior for that matter. It only has about 130K on it.

The Good, the bad and the ugly

Insulation only damaged on the braided line, but the nylon crossover tubes are what’s leaking. Yes, rust sucks!

The Good, the bad and the ugly

Well my 15 year old daughter is now officially a Bronco owner. Kind of. She has had her eyes on a 74 that I’ve been working on for a few years, but momma balked at that being her first vehicle. Momma’s requirement, air bags. So my daughter, not liking the looks of newer vehicles, found the...
